Our U-Haul broke down and was towed here. Everyone was insanely nice. James W. Helped us out so much and we definitely recommend going here! They did everything they could to make our 26 hour move more convenient and we very much appreciated it.

I didn't have any issues and the truck was ready, running, and warm because it was ice cold and snowing this day. I know you can't please everyone but at least I had a good experience when I came.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would
Took my wife’s money they were only supposed to take 30 for the fee. They took way more. I would never do business here again. They’re saying the return fee and the rest of it goes to corporate. Noah does not. I am never doing business with these people again, rude customer service worst phone calls like you can’t even Talk to somebody for five minutes without them hanging up on you worst place in the world if you ever move, I would rent from somebody else.

The man at the counter yesterday was exceptional. Nice younger man with longer dark hair. He explained everything well and even came out to make sure the tailor was attached correctly. Easy process and definitely will use them again.

Mike was super helpful and guided us to the right products and services necessary for my move out of Peoria. We got an upgrade on our truck, everything was clean and great for pick up.

Said mobile pickup was 24 hours I get there and no truck was assigned. Called 800 number they told me I had to wait until they open to get a truck. Very inconvenient.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A ROACH INFESTATION!!
We rented a truck on 10/5/24 to move some furniture. When we arrived at the apartment the furniture was at and opened the truck, it was full of roaches. We call U-Haul and they stated they didn't have another truck to switch it out with and we needed to get some Raid and spray it. We did as told, left the truck closed for an hour after spraying two cans of Raid in it. It appeared that all of the roaches were dead. We swept out the truck and loaded the furniture.
Once we arrived at our house to unload the furniture, we opened the truck back up, only to find roaches everywhere. All over the truck and our furniture. We took the truck, with the furniture, to U-Haul. They told us to bomb the truck and everything would be fine. We left everything at U-Haul.
It took four days for the GM, James, to return our calls. He stated that he could reverse the rental charge (they charged us for 2 days instead of 1), and that was all he could do. That we could have the furniture professionally cleaned and restored, but that they would not pay for that, as the furniture is useable (his words). I should not have to pay to have the furniture treated when it was their truck that caused it to become roach infested.
Do not rent from this company.

Truck was roach infested. Total loss of furniture. Was told to spray the truck with raid and it would be fine. It was not!

Phone calls, through there customer service line, for there customers, suck. They are rude, and a joke. There should be a zero star option for a pathetic ass help line. Yuck

Moving is extremely stressful and hectic, but James, Frank, and Mark were all a DELIGHT to work with. Extremely caring, people friendly, and bring positive energy to an otherwise stressful event. I would highly recommend using them for your next move. Thanks again, James and Happy 70th, Frank! :)

This U-Haul during the morning they have 2 workers that seem like they don’t like their job lol they get smart and sarcastic with their customers I used self checkout for the reason of some reviews saying the same thing but I still got a smart remark from one man employee who said “you can’t just grab a key it doesn’t work like that “ when clear as day the app tells you “ skip the line go to the side of the counter and grab your key “ I proceeded to tell him the app said I could and his response was “ oh really with a chuckle “ how about you guys get better acquainted with the app that’s through your place of employment rather then get smart with customers who are just wanting to get their stuff done the 3 stars are for the second shift employee who was polite nd had me in and out when I returned the truck .
