Attempted to use walk in passport services. Guy at the desk told the guy doing passports that I was here and had everything in place from the day before and the guy doing passports started calling people up for mail services at the desk and ignored me. Left and went to another facility for passport services. Even though walk in services are offered online they do not offer them fyi. I was there from 1010-1105 and finally left.

May be the worst service I have ever experienced. Tried to renew a passport during their available hours, yet was met with a phone call telling me they had to cancel my appointment because they didn't have enough people, 45 MINUTES before my appointment. Seriously the worst service I have ever experienced. Even tried to give a phone call back with the number they provided which is out of service.

I'm in east peoria expecting a package tomorrow. Tracking shows it left Saint Louis last night and made it to this peoria distribution center at 2:31am the next morning. Can someone tell me why it got sent back to Saint Louis after that when I live 20 minutes away from the Peoria usps center??? I think someone needs to be held responsible!

The Peoria distribution center routinely sends my packages that arrive from St Louis back to St Louis. Then they arrive several days later than the expected delivery date stated at the time of shipping. Why is that? Definitely not efficient. I would say incompetence is probably a factor. Do better.

For truck load deliveries entrance from Persimmons St. The place is cramped for full-size semitrucks, especially by the docks. It is designed for box trucks, and even daycab won't be happy here. If you are not a box truck and have an early morning appointment, they won't honor it. You will only get a door once they are done with boxtrucks. Probably won't be back here again. It's not really an over the road trucker friendly place. Especially if you are here first time, no signs posted how to get to the entrance until you get to that Permissions St. 2 stars for having a little bit of room to wait for them to give you a door and guys working. I've been honest about the reason for not unloading at appointment time.

UPDATE
It's been two years, and I'm still not using the p.o. box service, but I have upgraded to the informed delivery. This totally rocks! It sends you emails on your upcoming mail and when your package is delivered if you order something online. It tells you when it will arrive. The best part is that it's free and you can order stamps. I went inside a few times for Amazon cards, but they were out like always. If you don't already have the app, download it and try the informed delivery.
I have been using this PO for years now, and I only had a few issues. The workers are nice, a few new ones rude, but they never last long. Why work at a place when you don't like the job. It would be nice if they had a number checker at night. They seemed to put didn't numbers in my box. They're either one number off or all numbers wrong. They need to work on that it has happened too many times to me. All and all nice clean place and nice workers.

Zero repercussions for late deliveries. Package should have been delivered 2 days ago and was even delayed the final day of delivery. What a useless agency, it needs to be dismantled

I have no issues at the post office. I witnessed the lady tonight almost 6 o'clock. There was a couple who spoke Spanish. She whipped out her phone and it translated for her on the screen. Great job! I was impressed, and it seems like nothing was lost in translation.

Every single one of my family's packages that come through the Saint Louis distribution center has been 2-7 days late. It's disgraceful. I wish there was an option to redirect packages away from this lazy facility. Nowhere else can even compare to how late this place processes packages. Sad.

I have a express mail package that was stolen from this facility. my overnight express mail was supposed to be delivered November 12th to Texas.the package left galesburg and got to this facility and never left . it is now December 4th and they have not found my package. all they advised was file a claim. from my understanding a express package is something serious within the post office. Why can't they locate my package if it was not stolen. my package is worth $1,500 a $100 claim does not help my situation what so ever
