Nothing quite special about this place, it's not terrible is all I can quite say, they have everything you may need, friendly employees, what more can I say. One thing I can say, that's it's a good store for such a small town, I would recommend this store if your ever in peotone, it's better then most dollar generals that I can say for a fact.

Awful customer service. Cashier was on the phone with a friend while I was checking out. Did not even say a word to me.

I shopped there yesterday and the young man working there, his name is Joe, did a fantastic job of waiting on customers because it seemed like he was the only worker there. He deserves a RAISE!

There are 2 older women working here right now ( literally typing this in the parking lot). R U D E. The one thats working the floor seen the line building up and didn't acknowledge us or her co worker to let her know she had customers. What really did it for me is the fact an elderly couple were having Issues with self check out and when the cashier finally came to the front, instead of just doing her job, she huffed and puffed because they were having trouble. She was noticeably irritated that we dare ask her to do the job she not only applied to but interviewed for. There is a younger woman that works here and she is literally the sweetest every time I see her( im chicken dumpling girl?), they need to take some customer service tips from her ASAP.

No one is ever working. You have to find somebody to actually be at the register and when you do they have an attitude worst Dollar General, and all of Illinois.

My family just downloaded the Dollar general app didn't know how the coupons work the lady working was so rude asked her a question and she didn't have time, huffed, rolled her eyes never answered the question

6/21/21 6.00 P.M I like the store they usually have what I want and the employees are usually nice,except for tonight, the cashier was rude and I didn't appreciate it I always try to be polite to our essential workers and I expect the same respect in return.
