While the front line people are always kind, the bank doesn’t meet my needs as a customer. The problems have been getting worse over the last decade. From the quirky, unwieldy banking app (multiple iterations, each worse than the last), to rigid rules for mobile deposits, no notice when CDs are about to roll over, and management that is always “in a meeting” when you call to address their issues, ESB is simply not a bank to which I feel comfortable referring friends and clients. One thing they do well is their printed statements are very well designed, but that alone can’t sustain loyalty to a bank that requires this much effort to patronize.

Everyone at the drive up is always friendly and greet you with a smile. I am never very organized but they are all helpful and patient with me ?. Karen W. waited on me last week and was great. Love banking at Eureka Savings Bank.

I’ve had this bank for years because my family has used it (they have now switched) I live in Chicago but have continued to use this bank because my family lives in the illinois valley area. I’m constantly getting locked out of my online banking account and am unable to use my debit card. (Luckily I have an amex I can use) but while I was in college this was absolutely ridiculous and frankly unsafe. Seems like they have few security precautions and I am constantly worried about my funds. I’ve been locked out of my app since last night for no reason and can’t access or see my funds. No customer service contacts for emergencies either. I will be switching my bank in the new year.
