Don’t count on your paid for large items being held for their 3 day pick up window. Twice I have gone to pick up valuable large items that I bought & they weren’t there. Managers just shrug & offer a refund.
Update 7/23: I called Susan, Director of Retail Peoria & left a voice mail on the day of the last incident with no reply. Per the reply on this review, I emailed Susan on July 17. Still no reply as of 7/23.

This is a great goodwill! The prices are some of the most reasonable for goodwill, and the service is very good, too. It's not very clean, but its supplies and prices make up for it! A good thrift store to visit if you're bored!

So me and my son went to goodwill after breakfast we haven’t been there over six months and we were shopping and I was looking in the candle aisle the Nik nacs there was piano in the middle( No sign saying don’t touch) my son was playing it and I understand the sensitivity of the noise my son is 10 years old. While my son was playing Liz a coworker very aggressively went and said your done and closed the piano almost smashing his fingers and slammed it so hard that the top fell off and walked away aggressively and I approached her and said you didn’t just do that what’s your name and she said Liz and didn’t care and I said if you don’t like your job then you should find another one! At the moment I was going to walk out and leave all
My stuff but I literally got some stuff and went and got the manger name amber she seemed concern. I didn’t know the full story until I went in the car and my son left the store crying and went to the car. Well I called after I got the real story from my son. I got in the phone with amber and told her and she said the coworker approached and and apologize for her actions and said the same story as well. I guess nothing going to be done but she should have apologized to my son. Sadly my son and me no longer will shopping at goodwill again because nothing will get done and no actions will be done. So you lost customer and I will be going to head over her the manger because the coworker Liz should of never approach a 10 year old boy who was just enjoying the piano and he wasn’t being obnoxious or anything with it and you were rude and very disrespectful to my son. i am an avid goodwill shopper, and the peru store is by far my favorite to visit. but, multiple times in the last few months, i have been dissatisfied with the seevice of one employee in general. i have watched the same long haired man put clothes away willy nilly (no wonder the clothes are a mess), ignore people at the register, engage in conversation when he should be helping customers, and have an overall negative attitude. i’m extremely disappointed.

Yikes!!!! Who the heck is managing this store?!?!? Filthy , I’ve never been into a thrift store so dirty and unorganized in my life ! Literally garbage all over the floor , stuff everywhere. I would be embarrassed to say I managed such a place! Trip hazards everywhere!
