The store is great, but beware of using their comenity bank card. Comenity caused year long issue and will not take responsibility. Store did their best, but kay brand uses comenity. Cannot believe this has happened.

I went to Kay on a Saturday morning. Melissa helped me. I was coming from the local zales that closed for warranty inspection on my rings because Kay was able to take that over since the closing. Melissa was amazing. She was extremely professional and very nice to work with. Just because of how she treated us I'll be back very soon to buy from her.

Just make sure you go when nobody is in the store. When I took my ring to get registered I had an amazing experience and the person who helped me was amazing. Today I tried to get my ring inspected for the first time since being engaged and there were some other customers in the store. The only acknowledgment I got was the manager telling someone who tried to help me that someone else had walked in before me. I stood and waited for 5+ minutes with no end in sight. I understand other customers were there before me but it’s pretty rude to just be ignored. Unfortunately my ring still need checked so I will have to go back, but I will make sure I go in when nobody else is there so I can actually get helped.

I needed to get my rings cleaned today for my warranty but my rings were purchased at Zales. I forgot that Zales closed so I went to Kay’s in Peru and Melissa was so very kind and helpful. She got my rings cleaned so fast, I was in and out and avoided having to drive to Rockford to get them done. I will definitely be back because of this!

My wife and I came in to inquire about having my ring stretched as I have gotton bigger, Melissa was very helpful and helped me out in a professional manner, she also looked over my wifes's ring to be sure the diamonds werent loose. I will be back to get my ring resized and a new bracket for thecwife's ring. I had a very good experience. Thanks Melissa for being so nice. I havent been in a ring store since I bought the ring 29 years ago.

Great friendly staff and product. Repaired my wife’s pearl earrings quickly and with quality craftsmanship when the pearl fell off the stud. Bridget & Amanda were very helpful with all stages and made the process very enjoyable. Thank you. Will definitely be there again for any jewelry needs.
