Hours: Illini Prairie Rest Stop Southbound is a very nice and clean place to rest and stretch your legs. The rest stop is clean and smelled nice, with well-kept bathroom facilities. It offers vending machines, maps, picnic tables, and a playground. There is a nice walking path and a place to walk pets, though visitors should bring their own bags. The area features nice flowers and flower beds, along with a decent amount of truck and handicap parking. The parking is not too far from the building, and the area has surveillance cameras for safety. It is a great place to stop, have some coffee, and use the restroom.
