They responded quickly, under 20 minutes, and even apologized that it took them that long to get to me. I needed a jump as I left my headlights when I didn't hear the beep due to my earbuds. Once he arrived I was back on the road in 5 minutes.

Scammers, unprofessional , and super rude and also give you indirect answers on purpose and act dumb when you confront them i needed a wedge out the snow, he comes and tows the car i tell him i didn’t need a tow can i drive home and he says “well im getting you out of this spot” a super indirect answer and puts my car on the truck i dont even live 2 mins away from where this happened either then he makes me walk home in -6 weather after already waiting 2 hours for him to come, says i cant get in with him either and he wont take my car off the truck because there’s “nothing he can do” he “has to tow it”. They do everything wrong besides getting more money out of you don’t trust Jordan at all or any of these goofy mfs that work here they try their best to take advantage of you to the fullest call at your own risk!

If I could rate this 0 stars, I absolutely would. I wouldn’t recommended this shady, unprofessional, pathetic towing company to anyone. Save your time and find other options, unless you want your vehicle to end up with more damage than what it originally had.Service: Car towing

If I could give a negative star this would be the place. Knowingly working in a profession where people are likely coming from a traumatic situation results in some compassion for people who never intended to be customers. After a car accident from weather conditions this was the closest tow yard. I was not able to go directly there -even through it wouldn’t have matter because they were closed- when I called about coming in on the same day the car was brought to the yard “I’m not there and won’t be until after Tuesday so you need to wait” (this is a Sunday morning) then when I get to the yard Wednesday afternoon there was no clear indicator in where to go. He was beyond rude when I called for clarity “go to the tow truck, it’s a tow yard” where there are multiple buildings and trucks. Then he proceeded to smoke a cigarette while staring me up and down. Would recommend he attended a class on respect, customer service, and common courtesy.

I wish I could give negative stars for the most ignorant way I was treated and the joke of customer service from Tommy ( the new owner) is after my car was towed here due to a driver falling asleep and hitting me on the expressway. My car was towed since the ambulance took me to the hospital. I called to inquire about the process for getting my car out of the tow yard and Tommy the new owner with a curt ignorant attitude said, “well you owe me money!” I was just involved in a very scary accident that turned my entire day upside down and this is how I was spoken to. I am appalled to know that the Chobar’ name is being tarnished by this low class excuse of a business owner. I know for a fact that Mr. Chobar would be appalled to know what has happened to his respectable business. Oh and really 325 cash only to tow my car 5 miles what a joke

Charged me $200 to move car .0001 miles. Miscommunication on where they could deliver my car. Found a towing company that would deliver car to actual location for less than $200, completely absurd. Avoid at all costs. Tow truck driver was also giving attitude, just terrible service overall.

Upcharged bad, said to drive half a mile to tow my car was 200$ and charged 100 for overnight stay. even state police said it shouldn’t of been over 200$ for total cost. and the weirdo driver touched and moved some of my belongings in my car.Service: Car towing

My girlfriend spun out and totaled the car and the state police called these guys to tow the car. I called them same day to figure out cost and etc. Was extremely rude and felt like I was bothering him. Next day I drive to the location to figure everything out. No one was there I gave him a ring and then was told they are appointment only not once did he tell me they were appointment only on the phone call yesterday or on the website. As we were settling the bill and took out a debit card was I told cash only. Charged us 500 dollars for a 150 dollar tow. Bragging about how they have been in business for 50 years. One would figure for 50 years they would have a office and HEAT but had neither. The owner is more interested in talking to your girlfriend when your not around then trying to handle business and keep things moving along.

Chobar Towing is the best tow service I have ever used! When stuck on the side of the highway I needed to be assured the tow truck was coming when they said they were, and Chobar was right on time! I’ve used other companies who tell you a time just to keep you “hooked” and then extend , extend, extend. Not Tommy and Chobar! When he said 55 minutes, that’s what it was. Trust and honesty in this business is the #1 priority for me and Chobar is my choice from now on. What absolute thieves!! Our company van was hit by another vehicle and totaled. The police called these people to tow it away. They charged $1,000 to tow it to their location in Plainfield and $50 per day storage. You can only pay cash to pick it up and they only allow pick ups at 9:00am, 12:30pm and 3:30 pm. In other words, they make it as difficult as possible to get your vehicle back to get repaired or junked, so they can get the insurance company to pay the storage fees. What a SCAM! If you have a choice, don't call these criminals!
