We spend so much money at Costco and the employees are always so rude . Whoever the curly headed old lady is , was very rude after I spent $500 and pay for a membership . I don't pay all this money too be treated like crap . If u hate ur job that much , u need to go get a new one . I'm very upset . I really think whoever the manager is needs too talk to the employees about customer service !

Sometimes in general it's more easy to see negative aspects in a retail store than what really adds up in theirs line upHere at Costco everytime we visit this store is very neat, clean and organized. The store employees are very helpfull and friendly. They find ways to help you save some bucks and make good recomendations about products

I have always bought in this store and the service is very good with the exception of the cashier Lex N, in my last purchase I tried to pay for my purchase paying with two diferent credit cards and she told me that they were not supposed to divide the purchase. I had already done this before and I had never had a problem with that, I told her that I would then go to the self checkout to pay and she told me that I could not divide my purchase there either

The typical Costco - lots of good value, employees are generally helpful, and there are samples in the mornings on the weekend. IT does get quite busy on the weekends, so if you don't like crowds it is better to go during weekdays.

This Cistco has always been clean, well stocked, and has a friendly staff. They greet you with a smile and are always willing to help you find something. My son loves their pizza slices and the hot dogs are pretty good too!

Costco is a discount warehouse club. Generally purchases are in bulk quantities Make sure you can use their freeze what you purchase so it doesn't go to waste. Like anywhere else some deals are good some are not you have to watch what you buy.

Much better experience than I thought it would be. First visit as a guest with my Mom. Got a couple of nice deals on a few items. Might come back again in the future and become a member.

Ordered a mattress, scheduled delivery, and received a robo call telling me my delivery time was 2:45-4:45 on day of delivery (Mon). I take off work to make sure I'm home, it never shows. When I check online tracking it says delivery time is updated to 9pm. 9pm comes and goes. Next day it shows delivery missed, call to reschedule. I call Tue evening and I'm told the truck it was on broke down and they weren't able to get it to me before the end of day. Yeah, I know because I didn't receive... And thanks for the heads up! So I have to schedule another delivery date , which soonest is another week out. I asked if I could pick it up instead, nope, only option is to now wait another week and hope the truck doesn't "break down" again. If you're going to schedule a time I need to be home, and the time gets changed for any reason, maybe communicate that. Don't wait for me to call more than 24 hours after the fact to let me know I won't be receiving my order.

We took our sweet time shopping and by the end of our shopping we put the cart aside to use the restroom real quick. We got back from restroom Literally in like 1min and the carts gone we ask everyone and they say they haven’t seen it until later the guy named N####N started putting half the stuff back in the shelves again. We really didn’t like shopping again going through each aisle

Card checking at the door . Great. Card checking me again at checkout is garbage. This place has high prices and sales people chasing you down the main aisle yelling after you. I don't pay a membership to be annoyed. No one should!

This Costco has cheaper gas than almost every place in the area. The employees here are generally very kind and helpful. The selection of items available is good, but could be even better. For example, I used to be able to buy Chipotle Bitchin Sauce and Keto Bites as nice friendly keto options in other Costco stores, but not so much now. However, the prices are very reasonable on items here.

Apparently it’s more important to hound their customers about the photo on the Costco card than it is to help them scan four cases of water and other big items. I showed my ID and the Costco associate seen me struggling with the cases of water and walked away to help someone scan their beer. Their customer service is really going down hill.

BUY HARD 5 : A GOOD DAY TO BUY HARDAs John McClane's tenure ended with a fizzle, so does this series of Costco Yelp reviews. For those unaware, the fifth and final entry in the Bruce Willis franchise was met with universal disdain, a brutal way to close the book on one of Hollywood's greatest action heroes. While this Costco doesn't generate anywhere near the level of resentment that movie does, it's also the "worst" experience I've had at the chain of big box stores.Plainfield's Costco is adjacent to I-55 and off of Route 30 (S Lincoln Hwy). I rarely come to this location, as it's farther than the Bolingbrook (Boughton Rd) or Naperville (75th St) stores. Why bother coming here at all, you ask? So I can crank out another easy-to-pen review, duh. What I bought most recently is representative of our usual grocery run: paper towels (a dozen rolls for $20), water bottles (40ct for $4 = 10¢ each), bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers (a household favorite, 20ct for $10), hot dogs (50ct for $12), kitty litter (4x10lbs bags for $16), and a bottle of "premium" Kirkland vodka (1.75L for $19).Word to the wise, kids: not everything you buy at Costco is the best value in town. They had whole watermelons for $9; Meijer had them - granted, they were on sale - for $3. Hot dog buns are ever-so-slightly cheaper at Meijer, too (20¢/ea compared to 22¢/each @ Costco) and obviously the brand selection here is limited.Food court's the same as always: pizza for $2/slice, hot dog + drink combo for $1.50, chicken bake for $4. The soda lids were all jammed together in the dispenser, so I had to wrestle with that for a minute. It also seemed like the ketchup/mustard/relish station was farther away than at other Costcos, but that could just be me.On the way out, I absentmindedly forgot to take my receipt. When I came back to snag it moments later, the girl manning the self-checkout was scowling. I apologized for my lapse in consciousness, thanked her, and was quickly brushed off with a glare. Well who pissed in your potato salad, lady?? Was holding onto a customer's receipt for 60 seconds that much of an inconvenience? Dang!* TL;DR *Although we do 90% of our grocery shopping at either Meijer or ALDI, there are some things we need in bulk.If you're hosting a party of ten or more people, I'd strongly recommend a Costco visit (or a trip to Sam's Club, if that's where your allegiance lies). Specific items are a better deal elsewhere, so if savings is your ultimate goal consider a quick price comparison to Jewel, WalMart, Kroger, etc. Costco is best when you need 200 of something. With that, there's no longer a need for me to venture out and find other Kirkland depots in the western Chicago suburbs. My wife and I will continue to give the Naperville Costco the majority of our business but consider this the bow on my Yelp pentalogy.Best of luck in retirement, John. Try to avoid skyscrapers, planes, and anyone with the last name 'Gruber'.
