From the 1st phone call I could already see why Dempsey is a household name here in my brother's town and just about every other house on every block owns a Jeep! The guys here are GREAT! They are EXPERTS at recommending the best options and explaining how each model compares. You can tell they have been doing this a lonnng time and it's easy to see why Dempsey has been the #1 Jeep dealership for decades---these guys have the whole car buying experience down to a science!! Everyone I spoke with was super happy to help, friendly, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what questions to ask to get an understanding of what MY best options are and why....I love how when I first called they asked when I'd be in so they could schedule it and make sure someone was available to help as soon as I got there. I didn't realize what a HUGE benefit this is, especially at a dealership as busy as Dempsey! Had I just strolled in without that appointment I would've been sitting around for a LONG time waiting to even ask a question, so THANK YOU Dempsey for implementing the appointment system, I felt like a V.I.P.!! (and double THANKS!! for the good coffee!)Bottom line, from the initial call to setting the initial appointment to the test drives, to the financing, the purchase, and even the future maintenance plan, I felt like I had a whole team of experts guiding me thru each step!! I felt confident in my decisions and choices, which made it a whole lot less overwhelming, confusing, and stressful than the usual car buying experience I'm used to!! Although I walked in as a virtual stranger, I certainly drove off in my new Cherokee be h feeling like part of the Dempsey family of Jeep owners!!!

I used to think this was a great place to have my Jeep serviced, but this week totally changed my mind. I came in for a simple oil change and inspection. They advertise Express Lane service for a quick oil change. I was there over 2 hours, not exactly quick. When I went to pay out, I asked if there was anything of concern found on the inspection and was told no. I mentioned that my neighbor heard my brakes grinding and wanted confirmation. They pulled up my inspection, and, sure enough, brakes were listed as critical. They were going to let me leave with a critical issue, even though I had an inspection. I chose to go elsewhere to have the brakes repaired. As part of their service, they showed me the air filter and cabin filter. They were disgustingly dirty and full of leaves. Odd, Dempsey had told me that they were both just fine and did not need to be replaced. This clearly told me they never even looked at them and just "checked the off". This makes me wonder just how many other things they skipped in my inspection, and just marked as "good". I now even wonder if they even changed my oil, given that they clearly failed on so many other parts of the service.They have lost my business, including when I decide to buy my next Jeep.

I was searching across the country for a Ram Mega Cab on Car Gurus. They had a 2022 on the lot. It checked all the boxes for what I was looking for. I began having back and forth conversations starting in July. Called in September and agreed to a price and that the vehicle was being held for me. Went through the financing process, and unbeknownst to me the finance manager went away for training for two weeks. Got a notification today that the truck had been sold. Made a call to the sales manager, he said he'd look into it. After multiple calls over a course of 5 hours, I got a return call. Was finally told the truck was sold even though it was supposedly held for me. Not sure where the communication fell off in the sales department happened but it's apparent.

Great customer service! Very friendly, kind, and caring. We had a great experience. The owner and staff are wonderful people! They have very good cars here. This business is very beautiful and they do all they can to help people!

Just love Dempsey, I had my Jeep in for warranty work. Love the staff, so professional, kept me informed on the status of my vehicle. I had a loaner that was a great vehicle also. Salesman all greeted me, service team was all friendly. Demspey Jeep is my 1st choice dealership.

Worst experience here. Owner or manager whatever he was was SUPER rude to us. Acted like he was better than us. Trying to pressure us into running our credit before we even got to look at any cars. Also expressed what we were looking for and his response was “well I want a Ferrari but you don’t see me with one do you” before he even knew how much we were approved for or had to put down in cash. Very horrible experience. Do not recommend!!!!!!!

5 stars is not enough! This dealership makes me continue to believe in doing business with family owned. I just purchased a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe from Josh and John. John Weissensel was simply professional at all times. I did have to involve the Sales Manager Josh Bickle to help complete the deal. Josh is probably one of these most authentic leaders in the car business I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. He's a problem solver and an exceptional customer advocate. Thank you Dempsey! I will always recommend your dealership.

THE place to buy a car!Everyone here is low pressure and I saved on sales tax versus going to Naperville!They also showed the car in their indoor showroom out of the rain!Would definitely recommend!

Our family Pacifica developed a violent shudder while traveling. I found that Dempsey Chrysler was only a couple of miles down the road. Luckily, they were able to get me in! I cannot speak highly enough about the repair team. Angela kept me informed about my vehicle throughout the process, and I was soon on my way.Based on my experience, I would definitely consider future business with Dempsey. Thank you again!!

Very Impressed. After purchasing my 2020 Pacifica from the Naperville dealer, they turned me down for a crack in my driver's side mirror that happened a few months after purchase in sub zero temperatures. I took my van to Dempsey in Plano just shy of 3 years later for AC issues, not only did they fix it but they replaced my mirror (which had extreme yellow discoloration and big distortion in my visibility) which is what a bumper to bumper should do! Thank you Amanda and everyone there!

This car dealership was beyond wonderful. Eli was super helpful and answered all of the questions I asked. They made sure we were able to purchase the car I really wanted. No pressure sales was a refreshing feeling as well. They also checked in to make sure everything was going well with my new car.

This is Shannon, Jason’s wife. I cannot speak highly enough of Dempsey in Plano, IL. I was coming from 3 hours away, never having bought a vehicle without my husband before. I was uneasy going into the appointment and all of that quickly faded away. Eli could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I never felt the least bit pressured or like I was being “sold”. It was like we were just hanging out, getting to know the vehicle better and it was a great fit! His boss, Josh, helped strike the deal and was once again, super accommodating. The owner even came out and chatted with me a few times throughout the process as did some of the guys on the service side. It was an all around terrific experience and honestly, an answer to prayer. I will definitely check them out again when we are in need of our next vehicle and suggest you do, too! It was definitely worth the drive!

This was the most seamless car buying experience from start to finish. Our salesman, John, was no pressure, friendly and very knowledgeable. During the very efficient purchase process, we had the opportunity to meet and talk with Duane, the General Manager, Leo, the Business Manager, and Tom Dempsey, the owner of the dealership. It is clear, top-down leadership is actively at work, with a keen eye on a very positive customer experience. Because of this, we highly recommend this dealership and will definitely be lifetime customers.
