This was my first visit, they were amazinggggg! My cat was limping (we think he faked it now), but I couldn't find anyone to take him the day before Thanksgiving, but they did and got him in quick and were so nice and accommodating. It was a wonderful experience.

I have taken three of my dogs to this vet. The first time was about 10 years ago when my 12 year old pug needed dental surgery. I had a great experience, and they treated my senior pup well.I moved out of the area for the last 10 years, and I did not visit this vet during that time. I recently moved back to the area and have taken my two Boston terriers to their establishment for about a year and a half now. They've taken good care of my two boys, and if I had an emergency, the vet has always been quick to fit them into the schedule. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room, and the staff have always been friendly. One of my dogs is a big whiney baby and usually needs another tech to help hold him down when he's getting shots or even a look in the ears (he is ridiculously dramatic) and they've always done their best to comfort him while he's being "tortured". The same dog has severe and somewhat rare eye issues, and even though Creekwood isn't able to provide care for the specific eye conditions he has, they did refer us to a fantastic eye specialist and sent them all of my dogs file to make it really easy on us.One thing that is kind of a pain about Creekwood is their protocol for prescriptions. One of my dogs has severe allergies and requires daily medication, and it's not cheap, usually around $2.50+ per pill. I typically use Chewy, PetMeds, etc., for this medication, depending on where I can find the best price. The issue is that Creekwood has their own online pharmacy, so they do not communicate with 3rd party companies. This means that if Chewy or whatever other pharmacy I use calls to verify the prescription, Creekwood won't confirm it. And Creekwood won't email the prescription to their clients. So anytime I need a refill for my pups, I have to call and request it, then go in to pick up the physical copy of the prescription and depending on the pharmacy I use, I have to email and/or mail in the original copy of the prescription to get the refill. I could use Creekwood's online pharmacy, and I have, but their prices are not always the cheapest, and I need to save where I can. I understand they want clients to use their pharmacy, so I asked if they'd price match online pharmacies, but they said no.I finally decided to sign up with pet insurance through my work because my babies are costing me a fortune! Before I did, I called Creekwood to verify they would take it. They said they would accept any kind of insurance. So I signed up for it with my employer. When I went to use it at Creekwood they said they couldn't take it because they dont participate in that group. So I had the company I have the plan through send a request to Creekwood requesting them to join the network. The staff looked into it and said that it's not technically a pet insurance but rather a vet discount plan that the vet has to participate in, and that they were not going to start participating in it because I was the only client that had ever asked about it. I suppose it was a miscommunication, mostly on my end, as I thought it was considered insurance (as I think most people would). However, I tried to do my due diligence by verifying with Creekwood before I opted in for a year of the benefit with my employer (which I cant cancel until open enrollment next year) and I explained to the staff that answered the phone that it was called Pet Assure. Instead of the staff verifying, she just said yeah we'll take it without really knowing what it was. I know this is a misunderstanding because I called it insurance, but I wish the staff member would have researched it to be sure Pet Assure was accepted by their office, instead of just saying, yeah sure we take it.Long story short, we're switching vets since we're now paying for a plan we can not use at Creekwood, and they won't price match prescriptions. I think my experience is an unusual and isolated incident, so I still recommend them as they do provide great care.

This is a good place I hate going to Hawthorne you have to wait in your car at creekwood you can go in and be with your baby my cat was treated well and so was I. It's less expensive for a checkup but blood work was crazy high overall I think I will go here instead of Hawthorne though.I like the people better and the way they treat you.Rhonda the receptionist is super nice.

Dr. Green is top-notch! My dog went in after limping and not putting pressure down for a few days. I didn’t know if it was a sprain or broken leg. I couldn’t give her the calming medicine I normally do because she needed to be able to hop. Dr. Green was so calm (and kept her calm) and did such a thorough examination she said we should try muscle relaxers and pain medication first. Which I agreed with. She could’ve started with x-rays and all the high bills. But she took her time to thoroughly examine her and I appreciate that greatly! It’s only been one day, but my dog is sleeping peacefully and walking on four legs for the first time in days.
