“Needed a new vet and decided to give Northgate a try. So glad I did. Very impressed. Did not have to wait weeks for an appointment. My dog is anxious around other dogs. Arrived for appointment and they immediately took us back to a room, had receptionist check us out in the room, and checked the lobby when time for us to leave. The vet techs were amazing!! Wish I could remember their names-sorry ladies. The vet was amazing too. Great service and clearly care about animals. Dixie wasn’t happy about the shots, but they were so sweet and took their time with her. Cannot thank you guys enough! Highly recommend.”

“I had to write a review because of our great experience at Rosewood Pet Hospital. Our dog has pretty bad anxiety and usually panics when we take her anywhere. From the minute we walked in, everyone was so nice. Dr. Rachel was beyond kind. She took her time, she really listened, and was super patient. I am so thankful that our visit didn't feel traumatic like other places we have been. If you are looking for a vet office, I sincerely recommend Dr. Rachel!”
“We have 5 cats that used to go to another vet in the area but after a bad experience at the old one, we knew that when we got our most recent kitten that we had to go somewhere new, so we chose Horseshoe! The first time we visited with Dr. Harlin and Shaye for our kitten, they were both so kind and warming I immediately knew that I needed to take my senior cat here. For our senior cat, we had Dr. Harlin and Hope and I cannot applaud them any harder. They allowed him to be in the room with us so he felt more comfortable (the last vet refused to even try to administer in the room). She was so confident working with him and we got all his vaccines AND LABS done with no sedation needed!! I was so pleased with the patience and dedication this team had. Sydney at the front counter is always sweet and ready to answer any questions for us regarding our care credit as well. I am so so glad that we found them. P.S. if you are anal about what you spend and where you spend it, they are so helpful trying to find other ways to help you save. 10/10!”

“Found a kitten dumped in Edwardsville. Dr. Olsen was amazing. He was neutered last week. He healed so fast and everyone did an outstanding job. Beedle is now enjoying some well deserved TV time. Very, very affordable. They get you what you need and don't try to nickel and dime you. If you want fast, affordable, down to earth vet care, this is where you need to be. I mean, look at this pic. Come on.”
“Above a 10 star rating. I received care for a small cat who was diabetic for around 4 years. I eventually had to put him down. It was done with the most comfortable care, he passed with dignity and grace. I was allowed to be with him privately after he passed. He was placed in a white and pink blanket and I cried alone with him as the clinic continued to operate. Susan Stanley is the vet who helped us along with her assistant Mary.! I’m eternally grateful to both of them for their kindness and compassion during this time.”

“I used this emergency room 6 or 7 times over the last few years. I have always been grateful and impressed that I can have my pups looked at on an emergent basis 24/7. I read some of the other comments about this place "being expensive". I wonder what they are comparing? We have never been there at a regular hour. So yes, there are staffing costs. I understand the emergency room initial cost. Again, overhead. This week, one of our littles had an eyeball issue. The overnight surgical staff took care of her and a few hours later I received a call from the surgeon at 4 am giving me an update that everything was fine. Expensive? I thought the surgical fees were reasonable. I think people don't realize the cost of routine pet care in general. Everything is expensive. But relative to the care provided at this hospital, no it isn't expensive.”
“To be honest, Petco has never been on my radar. I always went to the other big pet store. We happened to be next door to Petco and I needed some dog food. So I thought we would save some time and go here. Wow...I'm so glad I did. I was shocked to see that they carried my favorite dog food. I had switched to another brand because I was tried of ordering it. They even had the wet food in the Orijen brand. They also had my dogs favorite chews that I can only find at a store an hour from me. What a find! I left with a cart full and a big smile. This is my new pet store! I couldn't be happier about it. I'm just sorry I hadn't checked out this store earlier! Thanks Petco!”
“They were great I was from out of town and my dog need a prescription dog food from my veterinary and Banfield Vet gave me the prescription dog food after talking with my vet from 2 hours away they didn't even know each other ! THANK YOU BANFIELD”

“The care and compassion from each and every person was unmatched. In January of 2025 we had to make the decision to put our sweet drako to rest and they made the process as easy as possible and got our ashes and paw prints back quickly. This past weekend we had to bring in our puppy after she got bit by another dog resulting in her ear missing a large chunk! From the moment I got there they were on it getting her back there quickly and stoping the bleeding despite being incredibly busy on a Saturday! They let my baby rest there until her surgery and morning time with no extra charge! I called and checked up on her and they never once seemed bothered by that which means a lot! I pray I never have to take one of my animals there again but I will never go else where and trust them completely with my fur babies!”
“Dr Meyer saved my moms 2.5 year old golden retriever, Charlotte. Another vet in jville didn't give much hope (they did what they could at their little facility and she had been there a couple times) and we thought we were going to lose Charlotte. We brought her in on Sunday on a holiday weekend and thought we were putting her down, but everyone there said they wanted to try to save her and they did. She had a mass of stuff in her stomach that she swallowed and could not pass, so surgery was needed. My mom got Charlotte after she lost her husband 2 years ago and we were devastated, but Hawthorne gave us hope and they came through. Thank you Dr Meyer and everyone else at Hawthorne. This is a true pet hospital.”
