“I had a business trip with important early meetings at Bureau Jct. and then Henry, Illinois. There weren't many options to choose from. I didn't want to stay in the Quad Cities or LaSalle/Peru as I needed to get going very early and could not afford to spend much time driving. The Knox Hotel fit that description. It was also very quaint and fun experience, not something I usually experience on the road. One word of advice, don't lose the emails they send you regarding check in. That will inconvenience them and you.”

“Clean rooms and a fresh but not overpowering clean smell. The lobby is a little kitchy with the rustic theme but the hotel is solid and a great place to stay. I. Fairness, it should be 5 stars for a rural spot but comparing to larger cities (non luxury), it's a solid 4.”

“HIDDEN GEM - BEST HOTEL IN TOWN & THE BEST PRICETraveling to Town for work as well as recreation several times a year, I have spent several days at each of the 4 Hotels in Princeton.Since the New Ownership took over here at the Econolodge the property has become beautiful, the building has been updated, and each room that I have stayed in felt "CLEAN". (If you stay in lots of hotels like me .... you know when a room feels "DIRTY" lolol - here is quite the opposite)The staff is warm and inviting. Can't say enough good things about this place.I would Highly Recommend this place to anyone traveling on a budget.”

“We slept so well here after a long day of driving. The bed was one of the comfiest hotel beds I've slept in, my partner who usually tosses and turns actually slept through the night and woke up in the same position he fell asleep in which I've never seen happen lol. The curtains also darkened the room almost completely which was wonderful and rare! Very quiet space with beautiful country scenery. I liked that this was away from the main part of town. Rooms are average and dated as most highway hotels are but was very clean. Did some yoga and stretches laying on the carpet and I can't say I feel ok doing that at every hotel!”
