“Greens are in much better shape than a few years ago. So much so that I decided to join the club. Usually pretty empty and can whip around 18 holes in 2hrs 15 minutes. Tee boxes could use an overseed this fall. Also a sand top dressing to firm the greens up would help. The course is definitely playable. There are many good holes with a wide variety. Some are wide open, some tight and narrow. Hoping they keep investing and make improvements because it wouldnt take much to make it the best course in Bureau County.”

“We went on a Friday night and had the place to ourselves was not busy at all, which was great for us, felt bad for the employee running the business that night had to be boring for him. Only disappointment for us adults bar was closed.”

“I had a business trip with important early meetings at Bureau Jct. and then Henry, Illinois. There weren't many options to choose from. I didn't want to stay in the Quad Cities or LaSalle/Peru as I needed to get going very early and could not afford to spend much time driving. The Knox Hotel fit that description. It was also very quaint and fun experience, not something I usually experience on the road.One word of advice, don't lose the emails they send you regarding check in. That will inconvenience them and you.”
