Was hoping to get camper supplies at this store. I was informed by an associate that most of it was packed away by the manager, and was inaccessible. Between that and the sad selection of power tools, I'll take most of my business elsewhere. Which is a shame because most of the employees are wonderful

I was searching for someone to fix my lamp (one in a pair of lamps that I love). After a number of calls someone said there is a guy at the Richmond Ace Hardware who can fix things - he might do lamps. The guy was Joe. I walked in with the lamp, he assessed it and fixed it within 10 minutes! He was friendly and knowledgeable; I left the store thinking this guy is a great resource. Richmond Ace is not my local Ace Hardware, but it will be my first stop moving forward.

Called six times and employees put me on hold. Just needed something easy to fix because the cashier helped. Last call i waited 25 min. Took pics for owner and will go to mchenry now. Happened on May 10th

I've shopped at this store for years, both when Tom owned it and now with the new owners. The music has never been great, but was usually a mix of rock music I grew up listening to. It's still been mostly the same but with more genres, however there has been a good amount of...goofy songs. Recently I heard Weird Al and the themes from Spaceballs and the show Arthur. I found this very unprofessional and bordering on offensive to the loyal customers....I will avoid this store unless I have no choice.
