I wish I could give this place no stars, it's horrible. Not enough staff to help folks, oftentimes it's only one person working. Went to pick up an item today and they didn't even have bags. Not a good look for Verizon.

I had had very good professional service at the River Forest Illinois location in the past. That changed the other day. I went in and couldn't identify the employees. They were poorly dressed. I almost left because the entire group looked sketchy. Turns out the guy wearing the stocking cap and dirty shirt was the sales person. I was made to wait 15 minutes only to be told that they would not help me! Avoid this place.

Horrible experience. I purchased a hum device for my car which was supposed to cost $10 a month based on the plan I got. After using the device for 2 months I got a bill for $65, I called customer service many times (45 mins wait minimum each call) and came into the store many times. The guy, Jack who sold me the device promised to call me back and agreed that it was the $10 a month plan that I got and that the bill is wrong. One week later the device has been disconnected, when I call the store from my phone it goes to voicemail so I now MUST physically go to the store (which I have done many times, to say the same thing and nothing has been done). Now, in addition to the fraudulent $65 charge, I have a $20 "reconnection fee". I am currently at the store writing this review where I was asked to have a seat and I have been waiting for 30 mins pointlessly, despite the fact that the store closes in 5 minutes. Now I have been told that my bill IS WRONG but I must pay it. However they will leave (another) note for Jack. This has been a COMPLETE waste of time, money, and overall horrible experience.

I am a numbers person I have never/would never do anything on a payment plan Well that is what I was surprised to find that i have.....after the fact. fast talk tactics....i had to make a check list, i had at least 8 things on it. never again, and reason to leave verizon after 25 years...service has become like ATT...the pits

My iPhone 6 stopped recharging, so I stopped by hoping it could get fixed. But instead of walking out with an old phone whose memory was full, Jack set me up with a brand new phone (iPhone SE 2) with 4x the memory of my old one, for less than $150 including tax and screen cover. And maybe for the first time ever, all my stuff successfully got transferred to the new phone. I'm a happy customer!

Completely unacceptable customer service. I ordered a new iPhone online for pickup here, only to find out they sold the phone I had reserved to someone else. They offered me a replacement in a different color, which was an acceptable solution so I went to the store. Upon arriving at the store I was told I couldn't take the new phone without activating it. The specific user of this line was at work so it wasn't a good time to activate it. I asked the associate if he could hold it for the next morning and was told they could definitely do that. Frustrating, but again, fine. I showed up at the agreed upon time today only to find out they had sold the phone they were "holding" for me. ?!?!? The Manager, Jack, explained that there was another system glitch, and that because someone else had paid for the phone they had to give it to them. His solution was to offer us a more expensive ($200 more) phone. What a deal! He continued to blame system issues for the problem and did absolutely nothing to try to rectify the situation in the appropriate manner. Our other option was to wait for them to order one. If was ok with that I would have done that in the first place and avoided this location to begin with. So yes, maybe you have a great experience here and everything goes smoothly, but it's honestly not worth the risk.

Initially I was going to rate this store higher until I read over my receipt. My husband and I worked with Brian Z to switch over to Verizon. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and helped us through switching to Verizon. We purchased 2 phones, 2 cases, and 2 screen protectors. Brian indicated he would give us a bundle deal on the accessories. He verbally told us that one case would be $30, the other $20, and $10 for each screen protector. So we agreed to get them. He told us our total. We knew we had to pay taxes and fees so we didn't question it. Now that I am home and read the receipt, Brian over charged us. Even with the discounts I paid almost $140 for the 4 accessories. I have attempted to call the store and cannot get an answer. We had plan to return and purchase two phones from this store for our children. I will not return since they are experts in being deceptive.

Went in a couple times for a new phone and to switch carriers. Jack and his staff did an outstanding job and took care of me with first class service. Any negative reviews on here are just people who didn't get their way from Verizon not the store. This is the best Verizon there is.

Stephon, Jack and WONDERFUL Henry were awesome!!! I needed to upgrade my phone and AMAZING Henry was exemplary in assisting this 'senior citizen' with warmth, kindness and straightforward explanations!!! He was amazing!!! My 'go to guy' and my now 'go to store'!! Thanks Guys!! jan

I bought a new iphone last week at the this store. Alex was great! She wrote down all my new and monthly costs on paper, based on which selections I chose, and showed me what my overall monthly bill would be with taxes. I really liked that, because my last experience buying an iphone in Seattle resulted in a higher monthly bill with extra costs that were not explained to me at the store. Alex, and trainee Jack made this experience, easy and fun and I was in and out of the store in just a short time. I highly recommend this Verizon store.
