“Dollar General is generally a nice choice. However it is *very* nice to have this option in the overall deserted town of Buffalo (yes, I know the town is not really deserted, but there is almost no retail commerce for consumer goods and food in the town). “The McArthur Store is the best Dollar General in town...Its clean and orderly and the staff that works there are always nice and help ful. The one on Wabash is a pig sty..cant get around because Ilse are always blocked with boxes etc...and everything is hodge podge...Its terrible.”

“We have 5 locations here. All but 1 of them are excellent with their stock, display, cleanliness and customer service. The one that is at the bottom of the list is the original store. It is getting better but not as good as the other newer stores.”

“I stayed at Rt 66 Hotel over the weekend. Made a couple trips to the store. Manager was very nice & cashier (Travie) welcomed everyone that walked into the store.”

“The store as a chain is fine, but this location always suffers because of the clientele that just rips the place apart. They really need one or two more employees just to constantly clean and straighten the shelves. You can't blame the employees on hand or the management of the store. The corporate office needs to realize that this location either needs more security, more eyes and hands in play, or relocated to a better place.”

“The location is nice for some and employees are willing to help anytime they can and are polite. Its cheap and a very convient place to so your lite shopping Now i will say the inside could at times be a lot cleaner and better stocked at times with all things set aside with all we have had going on keep up the hard work guys. I would definitely recommend someone to come and do their shopping if they are struggle to do anytime.”
“The store is great but i have a problem with one person who works there. Jeff is his name. He has been rude each time he has waited on me. I do not appreciate his demeanor. I asked if i could go switch something out and he flat out told me "No".”
