Terrible service from the Manager Alfonso. Has a line of people in shop and continues to honor the online orders first. Seems he only cares about the delivery orders. Took 9 min to get my sandwich in shop. Freaky fast....

I went to JJs for my free birthday sandwich. The girl at the counter was not attentive, she was hanging all over the sandwich making guy. She acted like I was annoying her. She didn't ask what I wanted on my sandwich and when I asked what came on it, she mumbled something and pointed to a sign by the register. The sandwich maker guy told me what came on it. I didn't even get a receipt. The sandwich was not cut in half. The service was NOT what I have experienced in all my years of going to JJ's. So disappointed. I will not be going back to that location. Happy Birthday to me!! uggg

Placed an order on 6/16 around 7:15pm. Someone from the store calls me about 10 minutes later asking if I can meet the driver outside because his phone wasn’t working. Fine, I agreed to. At least he called ahead and let me know. Before I hung up on him, I asked him if he could please make sure my sandwich is cut in half like I specified in the instructions and he said that it is cut in half.When I open up the sandwich, I’m disappointed to see it’s not cut in half.I call the store and the same person that called me earlier picks up and I ask for the person in charge, to which he says that he’s in charge. I voice my displeasure with him because he promised my sandwich would be cut in half. When I asked for his name, he tells me, no kidding, uhhh I don’t have a name. More than once. Although I appreciate the fact that he said I could make a complaint to Corporate, I feel a bit upset he didn’t acknowledge he messed up and pretended to play d*** and say he doesn’t have a name when I asked for his name. This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered from this store in Riverwoods and all 3 times when I specified to have the sandwich cut in half, it never came cut in half.Worst customer service, rude employee over phone, and I sincerely regret leaving a tip when it’s been a disappointing experience.

This JJ location is going from “Freaky fast, freaky fresh, Jimmy John's, freak yeah!” to “Freaky SLOW, freaky RUDE, Jimmy John's, freak WHATEVER!” Rude rude and rude staff, unprofessional, worst customer service ever, I don’t know what happened to this place, it used to be freaky awesome. We placed a large order today to be delivered at noon, it didn’t get to our office until 12:35PM, I called the store a few times to inquire about my order and the guy who answered the phone was short, rude unhelpful and very unprofessional, he didn’t even try to find out where my order was, the only thing he kept saying was “we had many orders scheduled to be delivered at the same time” not my problem, fix your system to provide better service to your customers, he offered no help but it gets better, the girl who delivered our food was just as rude, unfriendly and unprofessional as the guy.. I was very disappointed, I also noticed the receipt stated “DELAY” not sure what that means but if they decided to delay my order, a courtesy call would’ve been nice.

I’m here now 10:15 am. google says it opened at 10. Door is locked, no one inside. No hours on the door. Lights are on. Drive out of my way to this location that opened at 10. ?

Not the nicest people and seem unhappy. Prices too high for a sandwich. Would not recommend as people working there don't seem respectfull or care about customer service . I agree with many reviews that custome service here is horrible

Came in person with my grandparents - their orders were correct but my order was wrong. Not sure how a club lulu was heard as a country club, but that’s what I received instead. Tried calling twice, no answer. If someone can offer me a refund, please reach out.

The Jimmy John's near me closed temporarily while they are doing demolition of Town Center and construction of the Clove. This location is a tiny bit father away and they do not deliver to my house. Placed an online order for pick-up. We got a couple Big Johns (roast beef) and the Slim 5 (Italian). Sandwiches were ready when we got there. Tasty! No complaints.

My first time ordering from this place. I’m in town for surgery and I asked them to bring me food to my room which they did not beca they said they’re too busy. I received my sandwich and it tasted off and funky like something had gone bad. No extra napkins that I had asked for and my drink was very watered down. I won’t order from this place again. I called to complain and all the guy said was “oh ok”

There are good Jimmy John’s and there are bad Jimmy John’s. This location in Riverwoods is definitely one of the bad ones. Ordered an unwhich and the lettuce was disgusting, discolored, wilted and old. I cannot believe they even served this. Drove all the way back to get a new sandwich but the worst part is that they didn’t and couldn’t even apologize. All they could say is that all our lettuce looks this way. So then don’t serve it! No I’m sorry or I apologize for the inconvenience…absolutely nothing. What a pathetic group of employees. If I owned this place, I would clean house and fast.

This location used to deliver to my place of work (me and other co-workers have ordered multiple times, even our bosses have catered it, it’s 4 minutes away) and now the app won’t let me, says no location delivers to my work. The JJ worker who answered the phone refused to say anything to me other than *we don’t deliver there* over and over. Would not answer any other question. I asked why they won’t deliver anymore *we don’t deliver there* well you did like 3 weeks ago!! And it’s not even cheap either. $30 for 2 cold sandwiches, no drinks. He had a Spanish accent, that’s all I know, didn’t ask his name. But I called today, 9/2/22 at 2:55 pm.

I love Jimmy Johns sandwiches, but don’t love that this location was not open for business during posted open hours. I chose this location because I needed gas and hoped to knock some other errands out after having lunch. Inconvenient. Hmmmph.
