Dr Overbey is honest, genuine and down to earth. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. We have found cost to be very reasonable as well.

I can’t say enough good things about River Trails Animal Hospital and Dr. Delia! Their caring and responsive nature truly sets them apart. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and understood. Dr. Delia takes the time to explain every detail of our pet’s care, ensuring we felt comfortable and informed. The reasonable pricing for such exceptional service is a huge plus. Our dog, Kylie, Penny and Ace love to see Dr Delia and staff. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our furry family member’s healthcare needs! Their dedication to providing top-notch care and their genuine love for animals shines through in every interaction. I highly recommend River Trails Animal Hospital and Dr. Delia to anyone looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinary team. We have been going to River Trails with our beloved Ricky for 15 years to Dr. De Los Monteros, and she is beyond wonderful. The staff is always kind and helpful, never had a problem getting an appointment. Last night, we had to bring our baby in to put him to sleep, and Dr. D was extremely empathetic and caring. While it was a horrible experience to go through, it was done in suach a peaceful, loving and gentle way. We are heart broken, but we can't thank Dr. D and the staff for helping us through such a difficult event. I highly recommend them for any pet as they are most wonderful.

We have been going to River Trails Animal Hospital and Dr. De Los Monteros for 15 years for our baby, Ricky. The staff and Dr. D have always been more than wonderful, loving and kind. Last night, we had to put our baby to sleep, and while it is a horrific decision, Dr. D and the staff made the experience gentle, loving and pain free for him. She is beyond caring and empathetic,always has been over the 15 years. I highly recommend River Trails to anyone that has a pet as they will always be loved and cared for!

I called to bring my cat in because she is sick. I was told they can’t see a new patient for a week. Didn’t even try to squeeze her in or ask any questions - flat out no . Wow surprised

I have been a loyal client for years, even after moving to the city, I still drive to Deerfield to see our vet, Dr. Overbey. She is #1! the staff is very responsive and caring, they are always there when I have questions, concerns, etc. Thank you for taking such good care of my pet ♥

If you are looking for a transactional vet-someone who will give your dog shots, remind you of vaccines, have food in stock, etc. This is a good place. However, if your pet is a family member, and you want a vet that is caring, compassionate, and understands that a pet is a member of the family, you may want to look elsewhere. This is a transactional group of doctors who, as a team, lack empathy.

Facility is very clean and the vet was excellent with our dog, making her feel comfortable before starting his evaluation. He then discussed her vaccinations and what was best at this time.

Horrible and inhumane! We have been going to River Trails for 16 years for our Bichon mix. She is 16 years old and nearing the end of her life and has been on thyroid medication for the past 5 or so years. This vet is currently denying her refill of this vital medication because she has not been seen recently. Inhumane and unethical - stay away from this place. 0 stars if I could

All the staff are so welcoming, warm and friendly. They genuinely care about the wellbeing of your pet. Dr. Delia is fantastic and patiently talked us through our decision on whether to add on a gastropexy to our bernedoodle's neuter procedure. I always feel like I'm in great hands at River Trails. I live in the city, but River Trails is absolutely worth driving up to Deerfield for!
