Gas station / convenience store. Great selection of drinks, snacks, odds and ends, etc. All the things you would expect from a convenience store! Clean restrooms too!

I don’t know who runs this place , but the morning employees need to be fired. I’ve been passing through Rochelle for a month now. I’ve stopped in for a cup of coffee 3 separate times now. Every Time I stop I have to wait for the employee to come out from wherever she is. Last week 4 of us were in line before she finally came out and she was talking with some other female and acted like we were bothering her. Today I drove past and looked in and people were waiting in line and of course the cashier was not behind the counter. Never again Will I stop here.

Here it is months later and I went back into the store this morning on my way home. My Brother-in-law asked me to stop and load his phone for him and handed me $40. Not knowing anything about prepaid phones I go in and hand the lady his number written on a piece of paper and the $40.
She takes the money and the phone number, she plays on this little machine and it spits out a ticket she then scans. She then tells me it is $44 not $40.
I tell her that I only have $40 so forget about it, I will have to come back with more money later. She hands the money back to me and I leave.
An hour or so later Im in bed asleep and my sister is calling telling me the police are at her door! They claim that I stole air time and walked out without paying.
The store manager was also calling my sister with threats of pressing charges against me. I get up, go over to my sister's house and get the $4 and pay her phone card after being threatened by the store and police.
The clerk told the police I said "I will brb." And left without paying.
However the fact of the matter is that she handed me back my money!
She authorized the transaction!
And on top of all of this I find out not more than 30 minutes ago that the machine wasn't even supposed to be on or operating at 4am.
We will never go back into a Road Ranger again.
