Been the Chef of DJ’s Steakhouse and Blue Square Cafe for about two years now. King has been an exceptionally reliable provider for us. I would highly recommend them to any professional Chef in the quad cities.

Shocked and discussed by the way I was treated. After some confusion with an order I was told that he was doing me a favor and trying to fix a mess that someone else made. I was quoted one price and the next day quoted a price $200 more. I immediately looked into other places to fill my order. Didn't make sence why the price went up. I was givin the run around about what meat was availabe and some I had to wait for. Either way was fine. However I kept hearing excesses about how this was messed up by someone else. Regardless it didn't matter to me. I just thought it was quite unprofessionalto continue to point the finger at someone else. I didn't care I just wanted the order. I decided to go thru another place. I got a text asking if I went to another place I said yes i sure did. His response was "good"
I was suprised by that. I pretty much told him that was not professional. After many many many texts he insulted me and made excuses. I then called him. He didn't answer... I left a message. He called me back, I was in the car with my 14 year old daughter that had to listen to this man yell at me, cut me off, insult me and call me a liar. It was an incredible display of a classless, inappropriate, rude, behavior. He spoke over me and told me that we have not ordered from King foods before even though we have several times. I couldn't believe this was happening. The conversation was terrible and a waste of time. I've never been talked to the way he spoke to me. When I ended the call I read a text that he sent me prior to the call. He called me clueless and proceeded to tell me how much he was doing for us and how he dropped everything to help us. I sent him a message telling him he was in not so many words a looser and classless. He then called someone else from the organization and apologized for the problems and the way he treated me.
He later text me and apologized to me as well. And told me of we needed anything to let him know. Never will we ever order anything from King Foods it was the worst treatment I have ever been thru. I have worked in customer service and management for many years and would immediately fire an employee if I found out they treated a customer in this manner. Problem is I think he's the one in charge there... bad bad bad situation and experience.
