The Quad City Botanical Center is a public garden that maintains hundreds of plants, from tropical varieties to regional zone five perennials. The garden offers something for every season, with a splendid tropical atrium during the winter months and a unique collection of rare conifers. In spring, the garden comes alive with flowering bulbs, including a stunning iris collection. Other special collections include day lilies, mums, and ornamental grasses. The outdoor butterfly garden attracts pollinators by the hundreds, providing a lively experience from early spring to late fall.
The Center is open to the public 360 days a year and serves the community in various ways. Visitors can enjoy a festive Christmas lights display, indulge in hot cocoa and s'mores, and explore the Halloween-themed exhibits. The water features make it a great destination for families, especially on warm summer days. While the indoor space may feel a bit cramped, the garden offers a delightful experience and has the potential to expand further.
Was there for a wedding shower and after walked through the gardens and enjoyed the various ponds with goldfish and turtles and lotus 🪷 flowers. Wonderful venue.

Worth the time as the grounds really enhance the overall experience. The art work is a nice touch. Great place for photography practice.
Kids seemed to enjoy the mini water park on a hot day.
