Independent bookstore offering new and used books, toys, gifts, yarn, art and jewelry. Curated book sections, fiction and non-fiction: African-American; Native American; LGBTQIA+; Neuro-diverse ; Disability; Women's/Gender Studies including reproductive rights; Zines. High quality kids' books and STEM toys. Books of many local authors and the works of local artists. We support childhood literacy by providing high-quality books to students at the Rock Island Academy annually. We source our non-book merchandise from environmentally responsible, minority-owned and fair trade businesses, and from makers who work towards social good. Wherever possible, we stock items made of organic materials. We're the bookstore you've been waiting for!

What's not to like?! Well-organized, very robust selections, attractive presentation of books and so much more! Check out their website for 'Patio Events'. The proprietor, Tamara, is a warm and gracious host welcoming you to browse in her reading room! Return worthy? Absolutely... again and again!
