We had a wonderful experience hosting our Prohibition & Pickleball Holiday Party at the University Club. The venue is beautiful, and the staff was fantastic to work with from start to finish. Everyone was helpful, responsive, and flexible, which made planning the event so much easier.
The University Club generously shared their photo props and roadster car, which added so much fun and really brought the theme to life. The food from DeBord Catering was exceptional, and we received many compliments throughout the evening. DJ Paul from Twisted Mics kept the energy up and had everyone enjoying the music.
It was the perfect setting for a memorable event, and we would absolutely recommend the University Club to anyone planning a special occasion. We look forward to working with them again!”

“The Golden Leaf Banquet Center was a very nice venue for our Vera French Holiday Party. It was sparkling clean, well-lit, good parking, convenient to bowling, friendly and accommodating staff, great sound system, and conveniently located. The price was reasonable and allowed us to choose our caterer DeBord - which turned out to be great!”
“We have held our Rotary event at the facility for several years and it has been a great experience each time. The facility is very clean and well decorated and the staff sets up the room to fit each year with varied attendance. Always a pleasure working with the staff and owner. “We looked at a few different venues for our wedding. After seeing the Tanglewood Hills prices and talking with Juli, the choice to go with Tanglewood Hills was obvious and I couldn't be happier.
Juli did an amazing job working with us. She was very communicative and flexible as well as friendly and personable. The fact that we could have the wedding at the chapel and the reception next door (for a very good price) was huge for us.
The event itself went off without a single issue. Juli and her staff were amazing and extremely professional. She made herself available the whole time for any questions or concerns. Both buildings themselves looked amazing come wedding day and are very spacious. The gazebos and the lake offered stunning pictures.
All of the food (especially the Mac and Cheese and the pulled pork) were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Tanglewood Hills for any event! Thank you for helping make our wedding day special!”

“Great main event, sound for opening acts was absolutely terrible, beginner sound tech...and i dislike giving bad reviews but almost made myself and all those around me leave. Main event saved the evening”
“Awesome places, clean, plenty of parking, cameras for safety and security, frequent visits from local law enforcement. Sometimes they even hangout (they are good people though). My only complaint is how they allow them to be extremely loud past the city noise ordinance so residents at between 11 p.m.-1 a.m. have to sit in there homes and hear the music & verbal noise (laughter,yelling, etc.) And police won't do anything about it. But if a member of community is loud even during the day they get in trouble. Other than that, it's a great place, great staff, and u definitely WILL BE SAFE.”
“We had the best time! The rooms are clean and inviting, the staff was great! The restaurant was good and a nice little spa! We are not experienced gamblers and the staff in the casino was very helpful. Yeah it is not Las Vegas, but it is not meant to be Vegas. Was great for a quick trip!We will definitely be visiting this hidden gem in the future!”

“Best breakfast ever and it was included in our wedding block rate. Fresh fruit, custom omelet bar, yogurt parfait bar. Really fabulous start for the day. The hotel is a renovated warehouse with a bo ho flair and attached game room/ bar with 28 self-serve taps sold by the ounce. The whole stay was one novel experience after another for us! 5 stars!Walkability: Short walk to classic American street with a variety of eateries. Chicago-style pizza, Thai, Mexican Fusion, Chinese, ice cream.”

“They had a show at dance land yeah and I went to go check it out little difficult when you're getting older to have to climb prayer for flights of stairs to reach the actual Ballroom. Excellent place I was wishing the owner was still there.”

“Went to a 100th birthday party at the J Bar. The food that was served was very good. It was well attended by family and friends. Very nice area for get togethers. We did not stay there, so I can't say anything about the rooms. It is located in the area of stores to either walk or drive to.”
“Always like this theater. And it's just that much better with the new reclining seats and the ability to reserve seats. Great service and helpful employees! I will most likely never go to another theater. Some of the seats do seem to have some wear on them. As long as it reclines and is comfortable, I don't care. It's one of the best cinemas within 50 miles.”
“We chose At The Stardust for our wedding reception venue. The venue itself is beautiful and spacious. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. Wonderful experience!”
“I went last week! It was the best time ever. My boyfriend and I saw it on Facebook but the website is still developing and didn’t get a lot of information. I called and they were very helpful and let us know it’s $20 at the door which was honestly worth it! The pianos go from 7-11pm or midnight which is a long time and worth every cent! We got there at 6pm to secure a spot at the bar and talked with the owner and piano players. The owner explained to us that they had performers lined up for every weekend they were supposed to be open, but due to a glitch between state and local agencies the licenses they required to officially open took significantly longer to get approved. The piano players were fantastic. They took recommendations from the audience and interacted with us, even by getting up on the bar and dancing/playing the harmonica, which was so fun! The drinks were fantastic and loved our bartender Paris. All in all, we thought it was a great experience and we will be going back again!”

“This place does need some landscaping done but aside from that the front desk staff are professional and have great customer service skills. With getting a new GM this placed has improved immensely. The rooms are very clean and each room is inspected before any guest is allowed in. It's quiet and that allows for perfect work virtual appointments to be held in the lobby. They re working hard to make this place a remarkable place to stay! Keep up the hard work!”
“I am a wedding photographer and cannot recommend the Stern Center enough! Some of my favorite things I want to highlight about the venue are the beautiful chandelier, front seating area with beautiful natural light, and on-site "getting ready" areas. I also love the close proximity of Schweibert Park and the river. More than all of that though is their event staff, and a HUGE special shoutout to Kerri for being amazing in every way. She truly keeps things moving along and has a way of taking care of every little thing that comes up on busy wedding days! You are in the best hands with her! Thank you Kerri and staff for making every wedding we have had together flow seamlessly!”
