Took our truck here on short notice after getting towed. The mechanics at Ford fit us in right away and quickly diagnosed the problem. The part wasn't in stock and would be delivered the next day, so we did have to get a hotel since we are from out of state. Jeanne was very kind and helped us figure out a plan. We were even offered a shuttle free of charge - much thanks to our driver, Bryan. The part was delivered and truck was fixed early the next morning. We got a shuttle back to Ford and were able to get back on the road quickly.

I received very fast and courteous service. Alisa and Jim were sweethearts. I was especially pleased with a diagnosis of what may be some future problems. My water pump is leaking and I didn't have a clue until Jim pointed it out. I was putting off getting the recall work done because I didn't want to take time off work. Jim came to my place of work and did it in like 10 minutes. Excellent service!

We had a Mobile Service Tech “Jim Johnson” from Rock River Ford come to our residence today. They have a recall on something with the engine for my 2019 Ford Fusion. Jim did a thorough inspection to determine that I did need a new motor. The best part was it was still under warranty. Jim was very nice and explained everything I asked. Jim is very knowledgeable in his profession.Thx again RRF!

I used the mobile service to get a couple recalls fixed. Alsysa was very helpful and understanding on the phone.Jim Johnson came out to do the job he was great did everything in a timely manner. Seen I had a check engine light on gave me some codes. That saved me some time because I was actually going to get that checked out at autozone.I’m very thankful for the service and highly recommend it.Thank you Alyssa and Jim for your great work ! Keep it up hard work doesn’t go unnoticed .

I’m new to the Mobile Service at Rock River Ford. Our technician, Jim Johnson, was excellent. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, respectful, efficient and explained what was happening with the repair before he started. Our experience was extremely positive and we will use the mobile service again.

Jim J. was very professional when doing our service at our home and even checked our fluid levels and told us about our coolant being slightly low. I would highly recommend his service and I am grateful for Rock River getting our recall taken care of quickly.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. We bought a used car from their used car lot on August 4th. We have only had the car in our possession 10 out of the 40 days since we purchased our vehicle. We had a check engine light come on 4 days after we purchased the vehicle. We called, and they said they would get it looked at and fixed. It took them a week to look at it and say there was "nothing" wrong. They cleared the check engine light, and it came back on 6 days after we got it back. We still don't have our vehicle back, and they threw away our license plates. We now have to wait for our new plates. With expedited fees we wont receive our vehicle back until at least Friday. We have to call to find out anything going on, and it takes hours for them to call us back. I will NEVER buy another vehicle from this place again.

I dropped off my Ford Explorer since there is a rubbing sound in the steering. They quoted me $3,600 to replace the Power Steering Rack, tie rods and have it realigned. Then I was informed they couldn't get parts and didn't know when Ford could even commit to send the parts. I googled Ford OEM parts and found three options to get the parts I needed within 5 days at half the cost. I called a local mechanic to quote installation and alignment. I get a 2 year warranty and my total cost is under $1,600. In addition, Rock River Ford charged me $190 to take a look and give me this ridiculous quote. On day 2 they found parts that they could expedite for me but once I had compared their parts and labor costs that are 200% what the market is charging I'm done with them.Same issue on a TPS sensor. RRF quoted me $214. I made one more call to a tire installer and received a quote under $80.

Shop around for service quotes. They are overpriced by 100s and sell you things you don't need. Better off to leave the rockford area.

Usually I have good service, recently stopped in for an oil change, with an appointment it took a little over an hour. was told that the service tech noticed battery acid leaking into my vents, never bothered to ask if I wanted a replacement or if they should pull it. I took it to Farm and Fleet and had them put in a new one while I went to dinner. Old battery had no leaks, wasn't bulging and seemed to be fine. Ended up costing me a couple hundred.
