first I was not sure about this company I took my car there for AC condenser when I picked it up and made it back home my hood wouldn't open up so I thought I was going to have a problem with this company but after I spoke with him I still was not happy with this company but after I took it back up there Tony said he will take care me done a good job everything I was happy with the repairs that he made so in my opinion this mechanic place is a okay they didn't treat a woman badly they helped me and I appreciate all the help that Tony gave me I recommend this place to any woman that need help with their car

Outstanding communication and service. Air-conditioning went out in my Camry and another shop just couldn't find the issue after 3 tries. So I decided to find a different shop. Bove's was suggested to us by a friend of my wife.
All the staff were very friendly and courteous whether it was just me arriving to find a packed lot and one of the workers immediately telling me he was moving a car and I could park it where that car was to my leaving after I paid and the "have a good days" from everyone that came across my path to the car.
I've put 2000 miles on the car while on vacation since then (just a week and a half ago) and the air conditioner is working better than it has In a long time. For the first time since I've owned the car, I actually need to either turn down the speed of the blower and/or adjust the temperature.
In other words, it's like new. Which, I suppose, that's what a repair should be like.
Tony called me every step.of the way and explained in great detail with what the mechanics were finding.
Thanks to the Bove's crew! You did a great job and gained a new customer even though going to the mechanic is like visiting the dentist.

Boves is a very qualified Car Care Center. I have had some really strange mechanical issues over the years and they solved each and every one very satisfactorily. I would recommend Boves to anyone that asks about finding a qualified Car Care Center. Their Customer Service is top notch, you could not ask for anything better.

Called to get a quote on a brake job and coolant temp sensor for my 96 Firebird. Was told that they don’t work on any Chevy 350 motors and that they don’t service vehicles that old. Yet when I was a tow truck driver I would tow 80s and 90s muscle cars there on a semi regular basis. Don’t understand why I was told this but if you value honesty I wouldn’t go to these guys.

This is the best shop in Rockford for quality repairs, done right everytime. We've been bringing our cars here forever, and so have our parents before us. Quality is hard to find but Boves does it everytime. Great people!

Over many years I've taken my cars to many repair shops. Some were pretty darn good, some started good but got worse with every visit, some charged low rates but weren't so good (or worse!) and others were atrocious: incompetent and/or downright crooked. Then I tried Bove's. I've been with them now since 2020, and I won't even think of going anywhere else now. This is the most dependable, professional, honest and qualified repair shop I've found in over half a century. And that's no jive!

Tony and all the people at Bove's were great to work with. They diagnosed the issue with my truck immediately, and worked with me to find a repair that made sense both financially and in regards to the life of the truck. Any questions or concerns that I had, Tony answered immediately. I feel very confident in the work that was done on my truck, and would recommend Bove's to anybody!

We took our vehicle into Boves for the first time, and we had a great experience. Boves let us know what was wrong and then suggested several options we could take. We have already recommended Boves to several of our friends. We will be back!
