“Rock River pantry was a surprise. They had a garden outside, the staff was very kind you could tell that she volunteered and that her heart was truly into helping people. I made my first strawberry rhubarb pie with the strawberries I picked there and the rhubarb they gave me. I also got lots of good things when I went inside to The pantry. So I just want to say thank you very much ?”
“Great place. Owners are amazing. I have reserved the place 2 times. I don't have to worry about setup cooking or cleaning because they do all that. Not to mention their food is amazing. That's what you call Mexican food. We will continue to use them for our future events.?”
“I donated a sectional couch to them. I liked that they didn't charge to come pick it up. The lady I talked with was nice. The guys picking up the couch appreciated that I had it cleaned up and ready for them in the garage. Overall great experience.”
“I cannot say enough great things about this organization. I have to be honest, I used to not like Goodwill. I believed they over priced their clothes, when everything is donated then a beautiful thing happened. My son was given the opportunity to participate in their Pre Apprenticeship program all for free. They helped us with gas cards, educated my son on the Trades profession and they keep track of him with a case worker for a year. His case worker is helping him with a resume other classes to take and helping him find his career path. My son has ASD and this program is really helping my son. Goodwill is a wonderful organization and I will be forever grateful. If you or your child is struggling to get an education or just doesn’t know what they want to do with their life career choices I highly recommend you give them a call and see if they can help. If you or your child ( over the age of 18) doesn’t need any help please consider donating to this wonderful program. I am eternally grateful as I was laid off after 26 years from Chrysler just living paycheck to paycheck waiting for my plant to reopen. This program has been a lifesaver for me and my son.”

“I had a wonderful time volunteering here. The staff is great, patient, and your time is valued. They organize travel in their company vehicles and take the group to a fine dining experience when the job is done.”
“I am transitioning from shelter care ministries this place has been a blessing to me and my kids from being homeless sleeping in hotels and my car since moving to Rockford when all else had fell only for it to fall into place when I wanted to give up I want to shout out to my advocate channel Hudson for motivating me and encouraging me and pushing me into my next journey this place helps you get onto your feet I’m going to miss it”
“Called today to see of they were going to be open on Easter and the associate told me no however he let me know $1 day was moved to Saturday. How nice was that
Thank you so much. This store has the nicest staff. They are so patient with the $1 day craziness.”
“Many programs are offered here and a place kids can play basketball during winter sometimes and adults if you can get the ball lol. GED classes thru RVC take place there and also AA meetings take place there Fridays at 430pm.Not the best area unless you from the westside than it's normal and could be worse.Staff very nice and helpful.”
“My daughter joined this year so it was my first experience as well. The store its in is always clean and set up nicely. The ladies there are always ready to help if you have questions too. They had great energy with my daughter and made her feel proud, even thou she was really shy. I really appreciated the little cart/dolly they had to roll out the cases into the parking lot.”

“This is where our family held our Grandfathers funeral. Its a nice building and very spacious. We were able to fill the entire chapel with people. The people who attend regularly were nice too!”
“Our daughter has resided in a Goldie group home since May, 2017. We are very pleased with Goldie staff and her entire experience there. Our daughter can be very difficult to manage at times and the staff in her home are great. We check in with staff regularly and they are very responsive to our needs and concerns as is the nursing staff.”
“Very helpful and caring people. Awesome support for those who have no one else. I suggest if you really need someone to talk go here. Very helpful for young mothers who are alone, or mothers that need help in a bad situation.”
“Ever since I first joined Womanspace in 1977, it has had a close place in my heart. Their membership has grown and is thriving because of the wise leadership and value of their growing offerings over the years. Even tho I had to move in 1980, I remain a member, and support their cause which has so many benefits to women and families. You can find your place and make new friends who will last a lifetime, here. Thanks to Dorothy Bock and Elaine Hirschenberger who were the original founders.”
