Not good .have our order to someone else. We were told 3 or 4 weeks for our order to be in. Well after 4 months of waiting and several call . We were told it's here but we can't find it. We will have your salesman call you back . We didn't here back. We called to talk to our salesman. They said he no longer works there. So we talked to the lady that said it showed it was in but couldnt find it . Same thing. She finally hinted around that it was delivered to another costumer . Long story short. We got our money back that we paid up front which was the full amount . We bought the same item some place else for less money. They delivered it 3 days later. We will never got back.

What is wrong with them? I don't know who their sales people are, but on Monday, 2/26/2024, a woman in the Rockford store yelled at the top of her lungs at my sister-in-law, who is 76 years old, disabled, and in a wheelchair. Shame on them! They not only lost her as a repeat customer, they lost us, and our whole family, and all of the people we are going to tell by word of mouth and on google reviews and on facebook. I can't believe their attitude! All she was looking for was a refund for the mattress she purchased. The sales woman kept yelling and yelling "We're not Cold"? And saying "we can't help it if you made a mistake." All she was looking for was some accomodation, or even store credit for a product she's stuck with and can't use. I WILL be helping her do a chargeback on her credit card, due to the total lack of customer service. Gustafson's has have the most awful customer service I have ever, ever encountered. I hope they go out of business.

Dan and Jason the delivery guys were awesome. It's like they just copy and pasted the photo from Gustafsons store to my living room/bedroom. Only thing was Gustafsons took forever to get my stuff when they said nov 28th no later than Dec 1And it shows up Dec 13. They said my delivery fee should be refunded but I still haven't gotten that so.. who knows

Bought a kitchen table there the sales lady Kelly told me when asked if the table would water spot she said no, she has a table from that company and so did her folks and it held up very well she had kids and no problems. I told her this would be used every day not no formal table. She assured me it would be fine and this company stood behind their product very reliable. Well at a get together someone split water on the table. As soon as I saw it I wiped it up but the next morning the table top was bubbled. When I called them they said water damage was not covered under the warranty. I don't know of any table that doesn't get something split on it. Also they told me according to the pictures I sent I only had the rest of the glasses sitting on a napkin, they need to be sitting on coasters. The mfg. Was Liberty. Their suggestion was find someone who repairs furniture and see if they could help me at my expense. The table is only 6 months old beware

If you enjoy a good quality customer service oriented shopping experience...... do not go here. We bought our furniture last year. We were told by the salesman that our reclining furniture had the adjustable head rest..... it don't. We were told it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery. 17 weeks later it finally came. With no communication from anyone at the store. I had to call a few time to get a status. Fast forward to Sep last year. Some of the stitching started to come loose on the sofa. Made contact with the store to get it fixed. It still isn't fixed. I've been told numerous times I would get a call from the store (I've asked for a manager) but to no avail no call. They have our money and now they don't care. For it being a locally owned store I would be embarrassed to be part of it. Sad that you can't get decent customer service anymore.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service!The customer service lady who was filling in for whomever answers phones hung up on my mom who called about her lift chair being broken. Hopefully that lady gets FIRED for literally hanging up on a customer who purchased a lift chair and the extended warranty. Embarrassing example of a business. Just sad..

Sales man pete was amazing the whole experience there was awesome! They were all friendly & very helpful! We bought a flex steel couch at a very good price pete took the time to explain flex steel the life warranty! & was honest up front the delivery would be 5 weeks! Very pleased definitely my new furniture store!

I don't recommend at all! They charged me 3 times delivery fee. Zero communication on their end. Delivery guy didn't show up on time ! I was upset & they never followed up ... after a week of me calling me back I re scheduled for the delivery guy to only drop of the furniture & not even assemble it. They are not professional at all & when I cancel my whole order they decided to not even mention over the phone theyre going to charge me a 3rd time fee to pick up their furniture lol... NEVER AGAIN!

I live in Freeport and after getting the run around from Slumberland drove 30 minutes here. MUCH BETTER. I wish I would have come here first before wasting my time and money at Slumberland of Freeport.

We walked in looking for a new mattress. Not expecting to buy. After meeting Kelsey at the door, she showed us to the mattress area, with a stop on the way to get measured for what firmness of mattress we needed. This took all of three minutes, but it narrowed down the time it took to find the perfect mattress. Thank you Gustafson’s, and especially Kelsey for your outstanding service.

Kelsey Lippert was great! She took her time with us and let us walk around the store multiple times before we finally decided on a living room set and end tables. She was very knowledgeable and gave her advice on what would work best in our space. Thank you Kelsey. We always try and shop locally.
