“It was nice. The suite was spacious. The bed was a bit lower than what I'm used to. The mattress is close to needing to be replaced. The self serve breakfast buffet was also nice. My stay was too short to enjoy their other amenities. The staff was friendly but a bit standoffish.”

“We often like staying at these with family as they all have a kitchenette it is great when you need to stay in town for a little bit. And even for a single night the rate is pretty good. It was clean and both of our rooms smelled fresh.”

“We came to Rockford for a show at the BMO. We came from 5 and 1/2 hours away and we're exhausted by the time we got done. It was late and nothing was open for dinner. So we went to a Denny's and just luckily candlewood was 2 minutes away. Everything was nice and close. We arrived and Scott got us checked in quickly and gave us ice, because they didn't have machines on the floors due to it being an extended stay hotel. The room was spotless, beds and pillows were very comfortable ❤️?. I usually bring my own but forgot so this was a blessing. Bathroom was nice and clean with a good selection of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I would definitely stay here again if I came back very comfortable and cozy. Great job guys!”

“Great location, clean rooms that didn't feel way out of date. I would stay here again. No free breakfast but as a person with wheat allergies I usually can't eat that stuff anyhow. Staff was friendly. Thunder Bay Bar restaurant across the parking lot is amazing. Spacious parking lot for trailers.”
“all vitamins no calories. I had a regular 2 queen room. location is perfect. close to everything! The gym and pool are well maintained and clean. I slept through the free breakfast so I can't speak to that other than to say that they offer a free one from 6-10A The in room tv package is top notch with all basic and some premium channels. The staff was top notch, very helpful in every way.”
“We’re spending an evening here with our entire 8U football team the night before a football game. The staff is absolutely fantastic. Our team took over the pool and the lobby, Wendell and Dionna (not sure if that’s spelled correctly) were phenomenal hosts and extremely attentive, both going out of their way to ensure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. Rooms are spacious and clean, the entire hotel is very welcoming. I’d recommend the hotel as it is, but if I could have a Wendell and Dionna at every hotel I stay at, that would make the best stay every time. Give those two a raise…they’re exceptional.”

“The young woman at the front desk with the pretty colorful hair was extremely friendly but professional and was always working.
The hotel needs a little updating but they are in the process of doing that. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
We love the shower pods and breakfast was good.
We would definitely stay here again.”

“This is the place to stay for long term. Convenient for the purpose I had to stay. Job nearby. Price is affordable. Rooms are clean and the front desk is helpful. Amy and Shannon are really nice and do a good job. Scott the manager is very informative and is very professional. Housekeeping Amy, Terrell and the lady I think her name is Loose or something. They have always been real nice. I only stay here when I come to town for work. A lot of work has been changed since the last time I stayed long term. This time only a few days.”

“The hotel room was a little aged, but still very comfortable. Bed was comfortable with a good night sleep. The only thing we didn’t really appreciate was the maid was knocking on our door before 9am wondering if we were checked out yet. After a long night traveling, we didn’t like to feel rushed even if it was not her intentions.”
“We needed an overnight hotel, coming in late. We made a last minute reservation online, got a king suite for a great price. Gentleman at the desk was friendly and informative. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Everything worked. Quite area and felt safe. Breakfast is simple but everything was fresh and area was clean. Lady the next morning was friendly.”

“Nice location on the waterfront. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The pool area is lovely. Breakfast was our favorite part about it, the food and service were phenomenal. Chef Shavez and his crew did a wonderful job cooking and servicing. Overall it was a great hotel to stay at.”
