“Cool retrofitted factory that incorporates historic character. Excellent technological use in the hotel. 24 hour fitness, restaurant, and rooftop bar. Staff were very helpful. Right on the Rock River. Parking is the only thing that is a bit tricky but that is not a complaint for what you get from the stay.”
“Claribel is was a wonderful housekeeper! At other hotels when we are staying multiple days we have not experienced housekeeping coming in daily to clean and change bedding. We were in a hurry out of our room and were not expecting to have our room cleaned on the first day. When we came back not only was our room spotless, but she had placed everything exactly where we left on top of the fresh linens.”
“Very comfortable bed was a little stove in the kitchen. I needed a toaster. They sent it right up whenever I went down to the front desk they were just simply wonderful nicest people ever. I definitely recommend giving them a try.”
“Ok people, this place has some awful reviews. I read them after booking and worried about having to change our hotel at the last minute.
But if you are a normal human being, expecting a Super 8 hotel stay, this place is great. There were no weird smells, my sheets and towels were clean, I felt safe, the breakfast opened a little late but there was cereal, bananas, waffles, coffee and juice.
Yes, there are water marks on the ceiling above the shower. It's a drop tile ceiling that absorbs liquids and stains on contact. There is a loud industrial strength exhaust fan in that bathroom that could drain a pool! There is no mold. I'm highly allergic to the stuff and wouldn't be able to breathe.
The walls are thin. But there were no screaming people, no cops, no loud sex going on. My family enjoyed our 2 night stay in Rockford and I would stay here again.”

“Great location, clean rooms that didn't feel way out of date. I would stay here again. No free breakfast but as a person with wheat allergies I usually can't eat that stuff anyhow. Staff was friendly. Thunder Bay Bar restaurant across the parking lot is amazing. Spacious parking lot for trailers.”
“all vitamins no calories. I had a regular 2 queen room. location is perfect. close to everything! The gym and pool are well maintained and clean. I slept through the free breakfast so I can't speak to that other than to say that they offer a free one from 6-10A The in room tv package is top notch with all basic and some premium channels. The staff was top notch, very helpful in every way.”

“We’re spending an evening here with our entire 8U football team the night before a football game. The staff is absolutely fantastic. Our team took over the pool and the lobby, Wendell and Dionna (not sure if that’s spelled correctly) were phenomenal hosts and extremely attentive, both going out of their way to ensure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. Rooms are spacious and clean, the entire hotel is very welcoming. I’d recommend the hotel as it is, but if I could have a Wendell and Dionna at every hotel I stay at, that would make the best stay every time. Give those two a raise…they’re exceptional.”

“The young woman at the front desk with the pretty colorful hair was extremely friendly but professional and was always working.
The hotel needs a little updating but they are in the process of doing that. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
We love the shower pods and breakfast was good.
We would definitely stay here again.”

“This is the place to stay for long term. Convenient for the purpose I had to stay. Job nearby. Price is affordable. Rooms are clean and the front desk is helpful. Amy and Shannon are really nice and do a good job. Scott the manager is very informative and is very professional. Housekeeping Amy, Terrell and the lady I think her name is Loose or something. They have always been real nice. I only stay here when I come to town for work. A lot of work has been changed since the last time I stayed long term. This time only a few days.”

Beds are a bit hard and pillows are a but hard. This property is showing its age-could use some aesthetic improvements. Tub in 318 kinda rough and needs slip free stris on bottom.(very slippery!)
Other than that everything is fine”
“We needed an overnight hotel, coming in late. We made a last minute reservation online, got a king suite for a great price. Gentleman at the desk was friendly and informative. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Everything worked. Quite area and felt safe. Breakfast is simple but everything was fresh and area was clean. Lady the next morning was friendly.”

“This is a great place to stay in Rockford! I was traveling with my disabled sister. Shuntae was exceptional and helped us find the correct accessible room to make our stay safe and comfortable. The entire staff was polite and helpful. The evening social was nice. The rooms are clean. The breakfast was great. I highly recommend this hotel!”
