Klehm Arboretum uses Francesco's for their wedding rental events. Both were absolutely amazing to work with! Jocelyn, Michelle, and Lorenzo at Francesco's were all very responsive, quick to help, and made sure all my questions were answered. The process from beginning to end was seamless with them. The staff at Klehm were also very helpful with requests and with availability. The venue was beautiful and it was so fun using the gardens to take our wedding party pictures! They provided a golf cart to easily navigate through the gardens. I would definitely recommend having a wedding, or any large event, at Klehm! They will not disappoint :)

First time visitor here last week! My friend and I strolled through the visitor's center and nearby pathways while my adult son took a longer hike. Friendly staff and well kept grounds. Looks like a great place to celebrate weddings and such. Lots of benches to sit and take a break. Lots of wildlife are attracted to the beautiful trees, creeks and flowers. Great for photographers! Spacious free parking lot. We came on a weekday and the place was practically deserted. Highly recommend.

No matter your age Klehm has much to offer. The day we visited most recently areas were se for two late summer weddings and the weather was perfect. The display of sculptures was terrific this year. My grandsons love the children garden especially the water features. All of these things are great fun the peaceful beauty among such a huge variety of plants and trees. Well worth a visit.

The summer concert series are so fun to attend! Pack a picnic lunch and seating. Invite all your cool friends to meet you there. It’s honestly a treasure to have this local event! Love this place!

Very nice place for a relaxing walk. A getaway for stress relief. Both easy paved walking paths and nature trails for those wanting to go adventuring.Well designed for both adults and children. There is a great wonderful entertainment and water park for kids. They also create themes for people to walk through. When we were there, the theme was Big Bugs.A great getaway.Enjoy!

The Klehm is a bit of a hidden gem. Rockford has the Japanese Gardens and the Nicholas Conservatory and I feel like they are a bit more well known, but the Klehm also is a worthy stop. It's got a nice walking path and is beautiful. We visited to see the current exhibition of giant wood bugs. (Last year they had Lego sculptures, also fun). As a hidden gem, it isn't overrun with people, which is kind of nice.

My family comes here at least twice a year to visit the children's garden and it never disappoints! It's always clean, the flowers and grounds are beautiful and the walks are always adventurous. Definitely recommend bringing a suit for the kiddos and maybe some cups if they play in the 'river' and splash ground. Nice covered gazebo w picnic tables and lots of shaded areas.

Very beautiful grounds that are maintained very well. The main walking path is wide, paved, and easy to walk, so great for strollers or people with slight walking challenges. There are plenty of places to stop, sit, and reflect, which I really appreciate.

It was a nice experience to see while up in Rockford, but I was very disappointed the the dinosaur was missing in the prehistoric garden. It's specifically why I wanted to visit to take a picture for my second cousin and it wasn't there. It would also be nice to see community art installations along the paved path for those who aren't able to go off road to get close to the trees.

A hidden Rockford gem! Beautiful trails on a large property. Great to come anytime of year too. I highly recommend it, and you should visit the gift shop while you're there, too! Alex was super helpful in explaining the map of the gardens and the events coming up. You can easily spend a few hours here, especially in the summer with the splash pad!Playground: Splash pad playground for children.Dog-friendliness: You can walk the trails with leashed dogs. There are bags available at the visitor center and along the trails.

I love this place. Sometimes on the trails I can forget that I'm in the middle of a 100k+ city. It is sufficiently forested to remove the bulk of the city noise and allow me to attune myself to sounds of nature. I can trek the trails for a couple of hours and not walk the entirety of the grounds. I would definitely recommend going in the fall and the spring. Nature's fireworks are on full display during these seasons. Consider buying a membership if you like places like these.Restrooms: Very clean and well maintained.Dog-friendliness: Very popular place to walk one's dog. Everyone seems to be very courteous with dogs on leashes and cleaning up after their pets.

It is gorgeous but we got rained out. Have to go back and finish the Lego tour and the rest of the grounds.
