Preface for the bad review: I actually really love my new countertops
We had new solid surface countertops put in late March of this year, they are beautiful and exactly what we wanted. If I had written my review then it would have been 5 stars hands now. However after a few months the drain in our new sink completely disconnected and flooded our cabinet. Now I wouldn't have had a problem with this if Lowe's would have immediately apologized and sent someone out to fix it. No instead I had to call about ten times, speak to about 15 different people, each one telling me a different thing. The majority of which was "No plumbing was done during this installation" I never imagined Lowe's would Gaslight me like that. The store also said they had given me a work order number and a phone number (wait for it...they didn't') So the last person I spoke with says, why don't I transfer you to the people who actually did the install (Genius!) and they immediately have the name of the plumber, the date he came, and are solving the issue as I type this out. So shout out to The Countertop Factory Midwest for solving a five minute issue in five minutes. My advice is keep an accurate record of everything Lowe's does for your projects as well as all the subcontractors the store reaches out to. And don't give up when they mess something up. (My countertops are really pretty though, so thanks...I guess)

I attempted to return a package of screws (I got the wrong size) 10 days past the return date. The total return was 1.50 and was denied. The same size screws and packaging are still on the shelf. I would completely understand if an item were discontinued. I also bought an incorrect size screw on the same day at Home Depot. I was able to return that to Home Depot today with no issue. So, I will be shopping at Home Depot going forward, never to return to Lowe's again!
