Items their website claimed they had, we're not located in that area, asking employees where the items were, I was given a different area but they were not there either. When I went inside to look at the small plywood, look at the condition of their plywood inside, wow! They should be scrapped, not sold at full price.
Worst Menards I've been to.

We had a wonderful experience at menards in cherry valley, IL. We thought we would be there for an hour since we were purchasing windows shades and needed them custom cut. Alex assisted us right away. He cheerfully helped us, asked us what we were doing that night, he told us he was hoping to get in the fire department. We were in and out in half the time! Thank you Alex and good luck to your future. K & B

We went to get lumber and some of the yard employees didn't have a clue where it was located. Only one offered to help us. There was no twine or staples available for our lumber.

We was in there yesterday and what a joke. Price wrong. Check out she was very rude. I will Never go to the store again. If you want never go there. Go to a different place. 3 people in Garden center all workers on their phones not helping no one.

Walked in not looking for anything specific, we are new in the area and just wanted to check you guys out. I'm not a fan of Menards but this location is different. Very clean, I like the setup,/layout. You guys have a ton of merchandise. My wife grabbed acouple trellis and fencing to start a DIY project. Everything was great except customer service. We spend atleast an hour walking around, we walked passed dozens of associates and Not 1, seriously, not even 1 acknowledged us. I didn't need help, I was just looking around, but as a retail worker myself our #1 goal is to make sure the customer feels welcomed in our store. I literally walked up and down, saw aton of associates and with acouple we were 2 feet away and nothing. And I know this is a store leadership training issue because at checkout the cashier that took care of us at the end didn't say "Thank you or have a good day" Just gave us our receipt by saying "here you go".... nothing else. I don't go in to stores expecting amazing or friendly customer service but I can't believe not 1 associate from about 20 that we walked by didnt offered help.
Anyways, My visit would of been perfect if not for the above mentioned. This is not something that would ruin people's day but something to consider as an opportunity. I will continue to go back, I liked the store and how you guys have aton of merch in-stock

Our small business spends thousands of dollars at Menards every month, spread across 3-5 locations. This is the worst location.
Our chief complaint as of late has been that the 3" cellular core PVC pipe has been stained with large black splotches for months now. This would not be an issue if we were not spending several minutes on each pipe scrubbing the stains off with acetone and a sanding sponge.
We raised the issue with staff and management 4 or 5 times over the past two months. We heard things like "Well you could climb up and pick pipes from the back" "We don't have time to Wipe off every pipe that comes in" "That's just the way they come", etc. Unfortunately for them we know that at least the 3 other closest Menards to Rockford all have bright white PVC pipe, cleaner stores, better cart management, and so on.
We really enjoy seeing the core group of regular employees bright and early each week. A lot of them do a great job. However I have my doubts about management.

Every time I call or ask for help, the attendants drop what they are doing and try to help. They go to the area and walk me through what items are in stock to ensure I do not waste a trip, if I am on the phone. I regularly shop there and will continue. They quickly process returns too.

I feel the need to give a 5 star review. Anthony went above and beyond to help my dad out today. It didn’t cost anything to be a good person and anyone who has Anthony on their team is lucky. Management please know that you have a great employee who went above and beyond..

The rebate process is ridiculous. Customer needs a computer, internet, printer, paper, and stamps in order to save 11%. Then wait for snail mail. How is this convenient for the consumer? Unfair to the consumer who doesn't have access to all of these.

If I have to pay $5 service charge to get my propane tanks filled I might as well just shop at the home Depot and Lowe's The only reason I go to Menards is because they have the propane service.
