Are you kidding me?!? I went in there to pick up some rubber bands, because I was shopping with my GF nearby, and wanted to buy some rubber bands... Simple, right? The price of two very small plastic bags of rubber bands was: $ 25.53 $ 25.53 $ 25.53 $ 25.53 $ 25.53 $ 25.53 $ 25.53 $ 25.53 RIP OfficeMax!!!

I guess I'm about done with OfficeMAX.
Went to get black ink for my Canon Pixma. The XL cartridge was $27 on-line. Shelf price in the store was $39.59.
Adding insult to injury, there's a line on the receipt, "Retailers'/Service Occupation and Use/Se" for $6.93.
What should have been a $69 purchase (estimate, including sales tax) was $87.00.
Gotta find a Staples in the Rockford area and see if they are any better.

Print Dept handles projects small & huge. Knowledgeable & friendly staff complete projects quickly, accurately and are not terribly expensive. Give them at least 24 hrs to complete a print job or plan to pay a service charge for same day service.

This place is the worst. I was there to buy a laser printer, maybe a color one for $360. I couldn't get any help in the printer area to answer a couple questions. Finally I had to go find someone and ask to get some help. When a worker finally came over, the one I was interested in was out of stock. He wouldn't entertain selling me the display model, and just said no, they have to keep it if they still sell that model. He didn't tell me when the next shipment would arrive OR if another location has one. He just walked away. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!
