I have no idea how this place has so many stars. I wish i could give it ZERO stars. It is literally the worst thrift store i have ever went to. It is INSANELY loud with banginv and what i think was a vacuum that was on for the entire time i was in there. Someone took my cart that i had shoes in while i was in the dressing room right im front of it! Has to go looking for the shoes again as they put them back. The worst part? I waited 10 mins at the checkout without any acknowledgement from any employee. I then found someone in the jewelry dept but all they did was page the person who was supposed to be at the register. Tbey never showed up and instead of calling a manager or any of the other 10 people redecorating near the fitting rooms, they just paged the same lady who again never showed up. I stood there for 17 mins til the jewelry lady cane and checked me out. I asked to talk to the manager and she wouldnt get them. I will absolutely NEVER come back here.

This is a good place to give to if you're in Northern Illinois. They have a three out of four-star rating on Charity Navigator.

Staff has always been nice but big changes have come to this place. Price increase on stained clothing. No dressing rooms to try anything on and no public restrooms. I've been coming here for years, not anymore

I usually love this place. Its got massive space and selection. But the prices are starting to get ridiculous. Good selection of furniture. Used to have vhs but not too many any more. As a thrift shopper i love finding old movies. The bathrooms and dressing rooms are temporarily closed which is a massive inconvenience when trying to try on clothes n gauge whether youd like to buy or not. I also cant say that i like where they choose to put price stickers on some items... Sometimes sticker removal compromises the item . its just altogether a hassel to remove altogether. Check out can be a pretty slow process. Staff can be a little rude depending who is working-some have been above n beyond charismatic and engaging. But usually it seems everyone suspects every single customer as potential shoplifters rather than shoppers n it can b a little annoying. These are donated items. I understand it takes money to run a business and pay for help but other than that its all profit and the prices and lack of accommodation and general sense of malaise can be offputting. Plus sode they uuuusually have that obscure random thing u need in a pinch!

Small selection, no fitting rooms. If the clothes don't fit you cannot get a refund. Wouldn't waste your time coming here for clothing. Toy section is a bunch of broken toys or missing pieces. And everything else is just a bunch of random stuff they throw out with no idea of how to price. 100% go somewhere else.

Great selection of everything a thrift store can offer, and I love that it supports the Rescue Mission! They serve so many in the Rockford area.

Used to love and frequent this store when in town. Unfortunately, a change in management has completely destroyed the experience. There are no weekly sales, prices have skyrocketed ridiculously, and there are noticeably less customers in the store. Were the changes worth it? Not only do I not shop there, I no longer donate to them. I would sometimes see my donated items in the store priced higher at what I paid for them! What a shame. Your mission is to support those in the community who need it. Instead, you take donations and overprice them so you can make a higher profit. How is that helping people in the community who have fallen upon hard times, like most of the country? And . . . no blaming supply chain issues on this one.
