I've never been to a Sam's Club before. Definitely not the same as Costco in my opinion, but very similar. A very nice dairy, meat, section, and clothing area. I noticed a very nice Christmas clearance area, with very low prices. I believe that Costco has "higher end" products for sale and wider selection, which makes for better shopping. Sam's Club also has a snack area, but I still go for the $1.58 hotdog and soda at Costco. All in all, it was a nice store, and it looked like it was very well managed.

5/5 the cupcakes have always been a hit for classroom treat on my kids birthday so when I was looking for a actual cake for our home birthday party for my daughter & son I said let's try them out & it did not disappoint! Nice soft nit too sweet fluffy cake! Chefs kiss!

The Rockford IL store is good, but some of the pharmacy staff at this location are horrible. Sometimes I have had a good pharmacy person help me who was very helpful and polite. But several times I have come across pharmacy staff who should not be working there. There is one person in particular who picks up the phone, puts you on hold, and then never answers the phone ever again. I did come across one who is an idiot in my opinion, who looked up my information and said there are no refills left, but when I logged in, I found I had 15 refills left. Next time if I get this idiot I will call in the store manager and report her. She obviously did not know how to operate the computer software.

Ok so last night which was 2/10/2020 My husband I went too grab some last minute items , and everyone was sooooo rude But ...... here comes Paul manager of produce I mean I get everyone probably was tired But still ..... Paul of produce , thanks great customer service Brends the greeter awesome Nancy the helper at the self check out Thx soooooo much for your patience and common curiosity....... much appreciated

Why do I have to pull my membership out everytime I come into the store. I have been a Sam's club plus or gold member since at least 2005. I dont like opening my purse at the door and taking it out of my wallet to wave it at the person at the door. It is also the credit card I charge on. Why would anyone in their right mind wave around their credit card... very disappointing gonna check out costco

I left Costco to come back here. Sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision a month ago. Sams Club in Rockford have the WORST customer service counter employees 98% of them. They snap, they don't bother listening, they don't care, they're rude, and abnoxious. They do not want to be bothered even if there's no one in line. Only 1 person is nice there, ask for Suzy! Because of these experiences every time, I give it 2 stars. I hate Sams only because of their Customer counter. I never get a call from Mgr and I will now write Corporate.

Mary at the gas station really has an attitude! I'm not sure why she came out to my car to give me sass she explained that the gas pump was not made to go over my car to pump gas on the opposite side of my car, when I had another attendant tell me that this was the exact point of the extension. Either way someone was wrong, (and it could have been the previous attendant from months prior) and Mary belittled me and was extremely rude about it. When I asked for her name she turned around and rushed toward me to point out her name tag and, quite frankly, I thought was was aggressive and uncomfortable. Costco can't come fast enough. I am happy to cancel my membership with Sam's club based off of the disrespect I received while pumping gas. I've never had an issue with customer service at a gas station before and Mary went out of her way to ruin my experience for some reason.

Ordered a three tier wedding cake... It was GORGEOUS!!! Was perfect and everything I wanted. I asked them to leave their decorations off (2 fabric flowers, which were cute) and I added my fresh flower topper and other flowers. Moist and DELICIOUS! Tons of frosting!!! Will definitely order again from Sam's!

Pharmacy Alert: They advertise the lowest prices, but will try and rip you off for hundreds of dollars at the register. (It actually takes 3 registers to order and pay at the pharmacy. I think this added aggravation of moving from register to register is part of the scam to hide the over-charges.) I've filled the same prescription at this Sam's many times and each time they try over charging me.

Everytime I go to Sams Club I encounter an extremely rude employee. Customer service is not a priority at the Rockford Sams Club. If I could give zero stars I would. Once Costco in Rockford is up and running I will be so happy to get a membership there and will never go back to Sams Club.

My first and last time at Sam's Optical. First off, the Dr is only there twice a month. I had my exam and purchased 2 glasses. Whoever they send the lens to be made, screwed up the order which created total wait time of 2.5 weeks to receive my order. Once I received them, I gave it 2 weeks. Still couldn't see out of them, so I went to my family Op Dr and was re examined. (Should've gone there first ) Sam's Dr had my prescription wrong. I liked the frames and Sam's did refund the cost of the lens. What a waste of time. Forget trying to call there as the phone rings off the hook.

Wow just left SAMs club in Rockford Illinois where the Customer Service was terrible It was not overly busy however it took forever to check out abd when I asked Claudette how to get the self checkout working she said she was too busy to help She was so rude and then I said "obviously you need more workers" she said to take that up with a manager when I asked if one was around she told me it's not her problem I'm thinking Costco will be getting my business

Expect long lines and poor Customer Service,Needs a total revamp including employees,Oh and Herman the receipt checkout guy treats people with no respect. He belongs out with the trash . The employees have typical WalMart unhappy attitudes
