Came here late one night after being out with some friends. I was told this is all part of the Rockford experience and it did not disappoint. There were a lot of cars waiting for their food when we got there, but the wait was not very long. I ordered chicken nuggets, a gyro sandwich, jalapeño poppers and some fries which I shared with my sister and one other girl - those didn't last. Portions are good, I actually tried to save the second half of my gyro sandwich but one of the guys found it and finished it! Anyway, this is probably one of the better places I've been to in Rockford.

Someone vouged for this uncle nicks in comparison to the other one on state they clearly didn't know what they were talking about. I don't know how but both of my gyros were cold absolutely ridiculous. When I received my food it was cold just the gyros the other deep fried items were fine. But it's extremely disappointing that I had to microwave what should of been fresh made food so disappointed will never go to this location again

Ordered 2 gyros and 2 fries.some how they couldn't get it right.got a burnt up polish with some kind of soggy sugar coated sweet potato fries.and one gyro.

Uncle Nick's is a true gem. From the prices to the consistent quality of the food, you cannot go wrong. My favorite place for a gyro hand down.
