I was incredibly disappointed to go in and ask for customer service and be denied because I did not purchase the product at their store. While the product was purchased at a Verison store I was informed that this is a subsidiary of Verison and they can only work with people who purchase from their specific division of Verison. As a Version customer I believe that any store that displays the Verison name should be available to help a current Verison customer. Terrible customer service by the specific location and that the parent Verison company allows this to happen.

Taylor was the young man who helped me at this Verizon office. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient and extremely helpful. My problem was solved due to his knowledge and assistance. He is definitely an asset to Verizon.

Drop off in customer service. We have used this location for the past two years and we continually returned since we received excellent customer service. We purchased a new phone for my son and my wife was having problems with Disney/Hulu through Verizon. The customer service representative we worked with at the time was helpful and told us to return if the problem persisted. My wife returned the following week and worked with a representative named Cruz (spelling?). This representative was rude, dismissive and unhelpful to say the least. We worked with an online representative agent from VERIZON who was able to quickly solve the issue. My wife called me later upset about the interaction so I took it upon myself to call the store directly to speak to someone about the issue. Another representative (Assad - again spelling) told me that there was no manager to speak to at the time, but he took down my name and number and assured me that someone would call me back. Long story short - no one did. As a result, we will no longer continue supporting this location and we will go out of our way to tell others about the drop off in service. It is a shame since we had excellent customer service at this location for the longest time.

This single Verizon store is the absolute best. I purposely wait until I come back to the Rockford area to get my phone matters settled because of this team. Huge shout out to Airmis (I hope I spelled your name right my friend, apologies if I messed that up) and KJ. So transparent and the easiest people to work with. KJ actually stayed past his clock out time to help my family upgrade their plan to help them save money. Absolute. Class. Act of a branch.

Unfortunately can not give less that 1 star or I would. Each of my 7 visits to the store I ask for a manager only to be told "we don't have one".Went to Belvidere store end of September to get daughter new phone, was told by Kenan i could trade in old one and get $830 trade in then was told I could trade in my phone and get new galaxy 23 and my bill would only increase 3-4 monthly. Seemed to good to be true but went to this store the following night was told by Taylor it was in fact correct. Got two phones...that was mistake. On visit 6 by genlteman that truly seemed to care, finally got daughters phone fixed and verizon customer service was called...was told they would call and let me know whether they were going to give me the credit I was told by TWO of this stores employees. Shocker they never called after 2+ weeks. Visit 7 to this store 12/22 was told by yet another employee of this store that Taylor would text to get this resolved. SHOCKER no text. If verizon corporate is not going to give the credit then THIS store needs to step up and honor their employees prices they put in writing.

AVOID THIS STORE!First: This is NOT a corporate Verizon store, so there are extra “service” fees of $35/line. Drive a few extra miles and save your money.Second: The rep we worked with was one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever had. I know this is a long review, but it would be 2x longer if I included everything that went wrong.We came in asking about an advertised promotion to trade in a phone for a new phone.We gave him access to look at our account, and he asked if we wanted to upgrade all three phones on our account. He quoted us $600-something “plus tax” to upgrade all three, which seemed like a great deal, so we did. Toward the end of the transaction, he told us our total due was over $1000. He couldn’t understand why that surprised us! It was correct — the tax is applied to the full value of the phones before trade-ins — but we’ve always had people walk us through the charges in advance, not just surprise us at the end. And he was weirdly defensive when we questioned it — kept saying, “I didn’t lie to you” and “That’s the way it always is.”As we were trying to understand the $400+ increase, we discovered he gave us an upgraded phone without telling us (256MB vs 128MB), charged us the higher price for it, told us we’d discussed it when we hadn’t, said the phone we wanted didn’t exist, then when we told him it DID exist, denied saying it didn’t exist. We never accused him of lying, but he just kept saying, “I didn’t lie to you.”He also assured us repeatedly that our bill wouldn’t change. A few days later, we discovered that our bill was going up $45/month because we lost a credit. We went back to the store to try to resolve the discrepancy, and his first reaction was, “You never told me you had that credit.” He seemed shocked that we expected him to review our plan before making promises about our plan, quickly got defensive, and then repeatedly scolded us for being disrespectful. Were we upset? Absolutely! Did we raise our voices, use profanity, or call him names? Absolutely not. He accused us of saying things we didn’t say, denied saying things he said, and within a few minutes just stopped responding or even looking at us.At one point, he said, “Fine, you could just give the phones back.” I said, “Great, we have them with us, with the boxes. Just reverse everything and give us our old phones back.” Of course he’s couldn’t do that. “All trade-ins are final,” he said. So… why even suggest it? I think we called his bluff.We realized he wouldn’t help us, so we asked someone else in the store for the manager’s phone number, walked to the car, and immediately left the manager a voicemail. Again — we weren’t yelling, or profane, or insulting — just said we needed to resolve the issue. Ironically, the manager didn’t even have his voicemail greeting set up. And he hasn’t called us back.

Came in today to the perryville Verizon after a bad experience at the e state location and I am so glad I did. I needed to get my new device activated and all my old stuff transferred over, and Jon R helped me immediately. This location also has a lot of inventory, whereas state street did not.

Not happy with what was stated verbally and what actually transpired when we purchased phones. Lost my school employee discount through the new plan process. Was told that I would still get my discount before purchasing. After seeing my bill there was no 18% discount. When I question why, it was stated that Verizon changed the rules and discount applied to teachers only and not like my previous plan where you received a discount as a school employee. I purchased a tempered glass protector for my Pixel 7 Pro. The second day it cracked and I stopped @ the store for replacement. Non in stock I was told. Checking back for several weeks, still non in stock. Kept getting that story. It has been 2 months + and still no calls that stock is available for my phone. I can not believe that other customers that came into the store and purchased a Pixel 7 pro did not receive a tempered glass screen protector if they would have wanted one. Of course Amazon all along has stock on these very very hard to get protectors. Very unsatisfied with the experience and will consider other options when it comes time for new phones. Due to policies or statements that were not realized, definitely not going back to this store.

Do NOT go to this store ever. I was told if I trade in my phone that my new phone will be free. A year later, I’m without my trade in and still paying for the new phone! Beware of Jonathan Ratcliff salesman. Instead of helping us out try to resolve this issue he hang up the phone on me and Verizon customer service!

I am honestly disgusted. I was completely swindled. Do not believe everything a contract store like this says. We had a fantastic appointment with Trinity- I was ready to write a 5 star review…until our next bill came out. Turns out I was flat out lied to. 1. Trinity told me I would receive my $700 credit that Verizon had been texting MY specific line about for months if I upgraded my phone. Now corporate tells me my phone was too old and never qualified. I spent more money on a phone than I would have being ever so reassured by Trinity I would get the $700 credit. Verizon ended up cutting it down the middle and giving me $350. 2. Trinity told me it was highly recommended for my new phone to have the new chargers, so I spent a few hundred dollars upgrading all of my car/home/work/travel chargers. One Google search showed me the only benefit is the speed. But too late…I already donated all of my old chargers. I’m sure Trinity was happy to make commission off of my large purchase, though. 3. It took us MULTIPLE calls and conversations with Verizon after our bill came out hundreds of dollars higher to even figure any of this out, and they kept blaming everything on the fact that we went to a contract store. Verizon says I signed the agreement, and that’s that. But I was told the only thing I was signing was my credit card receipt for the purchase that day. I was in the store for hours and asked multiple times how everything was going to shake out on the bill, etc. - none of that came to fruition. I don’t usually write such negative reviews, but this is a new low for me.

Great service! Brandon and Jenna (I think that’s her name lol sorry) were very helpful and nice and gave suggestions and helped us out after a different location screwed us I recommend this location to anyone fast and friendly!

Great service! Same deals as corporate Verizon store, but 100% more helpful, and didn't try to get me to sign up for a lot of things I didn't need. Transfered all music, pics, contacts, and apps perfectly. The only place to go!
