“They are always so patient with our Lil Lady. She is a happy and hyper baby. A LARGE & STOUT happy hyper baby. So them being patient with her is very calming to us. They also make sure we understand everything going on, what we need to do, and if we need any thing else just to let them know. *They always keep a check on her right hind leg. She tore the ligament in it, that was the reason for our initial visit. Along with her levels because of the medicine she takes when her leg flares up. * Its awesome to know we have someone to take great care of our little one.”

“Dr Grant Sanderson was great with our senior dog Teddy and our newest family member Abbie. Abbie has anxiety and they treated her with compassion and understanding. They make recommendations for your pets care. But the also respect your desire to do or not do something as a pet owner. They understand that you know your pet best. Very caring staff! They are my choice for our pets.”

“Best vet ever.... wish I still lived in Illinois. I don't know how I could have made it through caring for a terminally ill cat without his expertise, knowledge, and compassion. He's a vet you can count on to do the very best in taking care of your pets.”

“I drive to Rockford from the NW burbs just so Dr. Katie can see my parrot. She is wonderful, takes her time, is very personable and has done an amazing job with him! She handles him with care and it's worth the hour drive just so he has a good experience!”

“Absolutely the best vet ever they not only do so good with my lizard (bearded dragon) but they work amazingly with my scared Rottweiler coraline they actually took their time with her and made sure she was ready when she was. Never separated us from her or forced her/us to do anything she/we didn’t want to. They worked with our budget and got her everything she needed forever grateful for this vet and definitely going to bring all my pets and families pets here as well!!”

“A place that cares for your furries like you do. I took my husky pup in for his first shots. He never felt them. Then a couple months later he got his big boy surgery and he was in a lot of pain the next day. I caller them and they helped my pup with his pain. Tysvm”

“We have been with Hillcrest Animal Hospital for over 45 years now. They have always been good to us, and good to our pets. It's wonderful that now they have appointments. I would recommend Hillcrest to anyone new to Rockford who is looking for a veterinarian clinic that's been proven time after time to be forthcoming with their costs, and which honestly cares about the well-being and comfort of both the pets and their humans.”

“The staff at the Animal Emergency Clinic of Rockford saved my kitten's life. Samson (originally named Fortuna because we at first thought he was a she because he was so malnourished) was dropped off at our doorstep by our mailman. He found him in the street in our neighborhood and heard from a neighbor that we had taken in another cat a couple years ago. Little did we know that Samson was blind and began having severe seizures multiple times a day. The first opinion we got was to put him to sleep but we weren't ready to that. After a particularly scary series of cluster seizures, we took him to the Animal Emergency Clinic. They kept him for two days, got him on a seizure medication suitable for a kitten, and made sure he was well hydrated. Samson has been seizure free since July 26 and his blindness hasn't slowed him down a bit. We can't imagine our family without him now and we owe that to the staff of the Animal Emergency Clinic of Rockford. Thank you!!”
