Very rude & unprofessional librarians. They argue with you for absolutely no reason, then turn around & say exactly what you said in different ways, instead of helping find books. Such a difficult job they have sitting in an air conditioned building organizing books, nobody could say where their attitude & anger comes from ? librarian asked for my address after I told her twice I live half a mile away from the library. Just bc you can read, doesn’t make you the smart in the slightest apparently

Love how you Deleted the 100’s of bad reviews, maybe you should take notes from all the actual community members who are unhappy and disgusted with your actions.

I'm absolutely disgusted that this library hosted and promoted an adult drag performer to come speak with CHILDREN about the drag industry, an industry that has ALWAYS been adult only entertainment and should remain as such. The inappropriate content, sexualization and grooming of children is predatory and extremely concerning to parents as voiced by many parents in this community. I no longer feel safe bringing my child to this library and will never step foot in there again, what a shame and an absolute disgrace, Talcott.

I can't believe any library would even suggest that children 6 grade through high school should come to presentation by a drag green for question and answers. Our children need to be protected and to grow not pushed in this way. Shame on this institution. Please monitor your children at the library too because apparently they are subject to things they should know nothing about and their precious minds are being altered.

Talcott has kind and helpful staff as well as great programs for all sorts of interests and individuals. The new building is beautiful, clean, and spacious. I love having this resource in downtown Rockton and use it frequently.

Beautiful library, friendly and helpful staff, lots of fun things for the kiddos. Whoever is picking out which books get displayed...bravo! At times like these I'm so grateful for librarians, public libraries, and all they do for our youth and beyond. Highly recommend checking out this newly renovated yet still comfortable and welcoming library :)

Coming from a young adult's perspective, I have to say that this library has forced me to grow as not only an avid reader, but also as a writer. Without their YA activities and especially the creative writers club, I never would have dreamed that I'd be able to write not one, but two books. The credit goes to the librarians, who make coming to the library such a plesent experience.

The librarians strive to be as helpful as they can. If one can't help you, another one can! I miss Bonnie... tear.
