Would not recommend this location for PT. I had a nagging pain in my right shoulder for several months that prevented me from lifting weights, so I finally decided to pursue PT to hopefully learn some exercises to strengthen my shoulder. During the evaluation, I explained to the therapist several times where my pain arose from (it was specifically in my rear delt near my infraspinatus). Not once did she take the time to look or listen when I was pointing to the specific region the pain came from. She kept making me do exercises that had no connection to my pain. I tried to explain but to no avail. She supposedly also provided “10 minutes” of therapy at time, which amounted to an extra $100 bill.I went to two more 45-minute appointments with a different therapist. Each of these appointments cost around $450! I was shocked. Half of the time I was doing exercises by myself. The second appointment, I was left alone with a student who had me do the same thing for 15-20 minutes. Ridiculous in my opinion. Again, neither individual took the time to actually identify where my pain arose from.Doing some math, over the course of the three appointments, I was charged a rate of ~$500 per HOUR. 2.5 hours of care cost ~$1200 to me and insurance. To me, this cost is exorbitant. Especially considering the fact that more than half the time, I was just doing exercises, many of which I already knew or could do at the gym. Sometimes, the therapist left to do something else! I am glad I cancelled the remaining appointments I had. I ultimately learned more useful exercises (specifically targeted towards the complaint which with I presented) on YouTube: for free! I have been an NCH patient for quite some time, so I am really disappointed in the quality and cost of care received. Their patient demographic seems to be primarily elderly; I am quite concerned if these individuals are receiving the care they deserve. Would not recommend!
