The Obedience Center

The Obedience Center provides dog training and pet grooming to the Rolling Meadows area. It is an experienced, no-BS type of training. The trainers are great, down to earth, and very informative. They really get to know the dogs they are working with and what each needs to be the best furry friend possible. Their approach is to train the trainer so owners do not give mixed signals. They use a combination of positive reinforcement and voice inflection to guide the dog. The techniques taught are very helpful, building the foundation of a good dog and a great relationship. Owners learn a lot and feel much more confident in basic commands. Dogs become more obedient, friendly, loving, and less afraid, able to focus instead of outside stimuli. Classes include beginner and advanced levels, working toward awards like the Canine Good Citizen. While the class space is in a basement with noted ventilation and cleanliness concerns, the overall experience is fun and considered a worthwhile investment. Many graduates recommend it for anyone looking for effective dog training.
