I would like to say thank you Eddie for helping me to have my truck transfer case replaced next day. You did extra miles when you found couple other things broken. You drove all the way to Chicago for a parts we needed. I can't say thank you enough. I definitely recommend Trans Fixed Eddie is trustworthy person when I got to know him better. Most of all my truck runs super smooth and no issues after traveling back home in Massachusetts.

Had trouble getting in anywhere in town and was told ridiculous prices ($160 for the inspection alone). I was able to drop my car off before work and pick it up on my break. Paid $200 out the door with a fix. They were all very comical and kind. I will definitely be back!

One of the friendliest most knowledgeable mechanics out there. Had a 96 4Runner with shifting issues. Turns out it was just low on fluid. Fixed it in 10 minutes and didn’t charge me for the fluid. I hope nothing ever happens to my transmission but if it does they have my business for sure. It’s hard to find someone like this anymore that actually care about the customer and who really know their stuff.

Eddy was fair and detailed in explaining the check engine code I was getting. Torque converter and gave good suggestion on what to do. Good guy.

I brought in my 2012 Camry with 170k miles because it was jerking through the lower gears a whole lot. I originally went to AAMCO, who wanted $200 just to run a diagnostic, but I decided to try a smaller, more trustworthy shop outside of the city—and I’m glad I did. Eddy took it for a quick drive with me, diagnosed the issue, reset a few things with the computer, and within 5 minutes, my car drove like new and he let me drive it around just to make sure I was satisfied.
What really stood out was how he explained everything as he worked and gave me helpful tips. He did all of this after hours (I called ahead and he happened to still be there), and he didn’t charge me a dime—not saying that’s always the case, but it really showed his character and love for solving car problems, saving people money, and making sure they leave happy. We were complete strangers before this, and I can confidently say I highly recommend this place.

I have a 2013 civic. Around 130k miles, it started slipping causing me a lot of anxiety, as I use my car for work. Looked up reviews and trans-fixed had great ones.
Came in and spoke with owner, Eddie. Told me to buy two 2 ounce tube's of Dr. Tranny by lubegard on amazon and he'd add it during a drain and fill. I'm at 265k miles now and the trans runs fine, with no slips. I've been taking my car to eddie about every 36k miles since.
Eddie is an ace! Super nice, down to earth, honest, patient guy. And yes, I assure you they're open! (Reference from the movie, 'clerks')

Told by several Ford dealerships that my transmission was unfixable. Needed to be replaced. Stopped in to Trans-fixed. Eddie (The owner) took it for a test drive, recalibrated the transmission on the plug-in diagnostic.
Seems to be working smoothly. Don't be fooled by dealerships, I am so pleased that I decided to stop by an old fashioned transmission shop with an owner that actually cares. Can't thank you enough Eddie.

This is for genius Eddie, I hv been ripped off from mechanic after mechanic, until I found Eddie from Trans-fixed!!! He is a godsend to me!, after mechanic and anothr trans shop told me it was my transmission which is was not, Eddie finally found my prblm., and it only tk a day, I was desperate thinking I was not going to hv a car anymore until I found Eddie at Trans-fix!! I think at this point he can do anything, their are really no wrds to describe how brilliant he is!!! Also I do hpe alot of people read this but hpefully yu won't be too busy lol when I need your hlp again!
The car I brought in was a 2010 Cobalt and I thought that, that was it for that car, but Eddie brought it back to life!!!
I cannot thank you enough!!!! Still in shock that someone in this world of mechanics , that there is someone that doesn't rip women off and can hlp you!!
That's all I can say about my mechanic Eddie, you are a gem in a million!!!!

Eddie has proven himself to be knowledgeable, fair & honest which is hard to come by nowadays. He replaced my Transfer Case in an Infiniti SUV with available remanufactured parts and after they failed almost a year later he continues to stand behind his work and do the repair at least 2 more times until he was happy with the results which included rebalancing the drive shaft for a really fair price just to make sure I was happy also. I’ll always go to him first on a drivetrain issue.

Highly recommend this shop. Had an issue no one else would touch and they had no problem doing what they could to try and resolve my problem. Fixed and ready to go with no issues. Great place.
