Marty is a helpful and courteous man who is a wealth of information and always friendly. This place is clean, well-lit, and the atmosphere feels safe. The only thing I think could be changed a little is that the overhead garage door stays open longer than it should after the eye has been cleared, but I am new to this storage stuff, so maybe there is a good reason for that. Otherwise, Marty is truly an asset to the company and this location is bright, clean, and wonderful.”

Fuel island workers always there, no searching for someone to fuel like many other locations, service guys have mixed batteries, replaced fire extinguishers , and other things without making me wait 3 hrs like other locations. Thanks Bensenville guys especially the fuelers for doing your job. Hopefully other locations will take note of your work ethics.”

“I ran into some issues picking up my truck at the originally scheduled location at the end of August which was a bit of an inconvenience but Ben Glatz was incredibly helpful and made sure to get everything sorted for us at the Franklin Park location. “Vanessa at the Rolling Meadows location is the ONLY reason for this 5 star review. She is truly a special individual and a genuinely kind person who went above and beyond to help us in every way possible. She was fantastic!
Unfortunately, our experience with U-Haul as a company was the complete opposite. We reserved a 10' one-way truck well in advance for my daughter's college move. During the week leading up to the move, we were called repeatedly—sometimes twice a day—changing the pickup time, location, truck size, or some combination of the three. My daughter, my wife, and I all called multiple times trying to get things straightened out. Each time we thought we finally had a plan based on U-Haul's availability, we'd get another call the next day changing it again. The entire reservation and customer service process was an absolute disaster.
U-Haul as a whole gets 1 star from me. Vanessa gets 5. She turned an incredibly frustrating experience into a positive one, and U-Haul is very fortunate to have her at the Rolling Meadows location.”
