This is a store where you can receive the same beauty salon services as in Japan. The cut costs $60 + tip, but the atmosphere inside the restaurant is very similar to that of Japan, which is very good. It is difficult to make a reservation, but if you call and make a reservation for a future date, you will be contacted by SMS or phone if there is a cancellation, so I think it is a good idea to make a reservation even if you are far away. Masu.
If you are coming from Loop by public transportation, we recommend taking the 606 bus from Rosemont Station on the Blue Line (one stop from OHR Airport). The store will be right in front of the bus stop. It takes about an hour and a half, but hopefully it won't cost $3 round trip (as the ticket is valid for 2 hours).

A beauty salon run by a Japanese couple. The cut is 60 dollars + tip, which is more expensive than in Japan, but since she is familiar with Japanese hair types, you can leave it to her with confidence. I was told that it was the last minute to make a reservation and that the reservation was booked up to 3 months in advance, but I received a call and was able to cut it off in a hurry because someone had canceled. The person who called me was very kind and did a great job of cutting the hair just by showing me the photo. I will go again if I have a chance. The atmosphere of the store is also wonderful!

I’ve been to this place for the last 7 years and Masa never disappoint. Hands down the best spot for haircut, esp. for Asian. This is a place where I almost don’t want to tell people about because they are already really busy and hard to book.

Been going for over a decade now! I've tried other hair salons but keep coming back to this one. They definitely know how to cut Asian hair.Other salons I've tried, my cut is nice but couple months later it becomes uneven and obviously in need of another cut - NOT this place! My cuts and color always last SO long and always grow out nicely for MONTHS with Rumi!

They are not taking new clients until March or April 2022.But right down the street Arukas Hair Chicago in Mitsuwa, they are accepting new clients.
