If I could give them, zero stars I would. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!!!! Super unreliable, I just got an email this morning three business days before I’m supposed to move from Illinois to Texas. I made the reservation for the truck over a month ago and they had the courtesy to cancel right before I’m supposed to leave. I spoke to customer service and they told me the best they could do is give me a $250. Now looking at other trucks, I’m gonna spend $1500 more because of how last minute they cancelled. A reservation well in advance obviously means nothing to them, nor do they care to cover the difference from their mistake. I didn’t even get a courtesy phone call from anyone just an email. No apology just that they didn’t have trucks. Obviously, they only care about making money as every business normally does but this is just ruthless and insensitive.

I was suppost to leave today out of state, they call me to tell me there's no cars. They will call me back as soon as some cars back. I don't get a call so I call now they are closed. Customer service says we can get you a car tomorrow but the rates will change. How was it my fault, that's why it's called a reservation, a head of time, to have a car ready. This is my forst issue with Budget. This company is not a good car rental and don't recommend it.

If I could give 0 stars I would ! The price I was told was not the price I end up paying , staff was not at all helpful in the situation and on top of that they don’t want to release my deposit back ! I was charged 350$ total for a truck I had all of 3 days ! WILL NOT BE BACK EVER

This may be the last time I rent from budget only because the car they gave me check oil light came on and the back tires were bald. I shouldn’t have on my mind coming back from a trip “as long as I make it home in a rental car” Nevertheless I made it home told the representative the issues and it was said the oil wasn’t reset and the tires they knew about. Overall I didn’t feel as if my concerns were heard, just another rental for the books.

Terrible experience! I’ve never had a problem with renting cars, but I did here. The representative had no explanation other than what was on the screen.

Terrible experience, yet again. Not able to get a reservation entered. At pickup location, offered the vehicle pictured. Entire vehicle was filthy. Rental agent had an indifferent attitude, did not even provide pre-rental walk around. Need more be said?

Had the worst experience. Reserved a truck for a Saturday morning pick up. Received a call on Friday at 3 pm (the day before the reservation, which is less than 24 hours) to tell me there was no truck. A message was left that I have to call customer service for them to find me another truck. I called customer service, spoke with someone and never got a call back from the inventory manager to find me another truck. What a waste of time.

I rented a car for one day for a business trip to Racine, WI, picking it up on 8/24/22 at 6 pm, with return next day 8/25/22 at 6 pm. I did it from the Budget location at Lewis University, where I am a professor. I had many good experiences renting from Budget/Avis, but this was by far the worst, because of the lack of professionalism of Basca, the associate that processed the rental. First, he gave me the keys to a car (Chevy Malibu) that was not in the available parking lot, was dirty and had only 5/8 fuel in tank, even though the paperwork showed 8/8. He apologized, found the car in the back parking lot and corrected the error with the fuel gage, but when I returned the car next day some minutes after 6 pm closing time, when everybody was gone and the place was closed, he charged me an additional day. I will contest charges and will try to avoid renting from Budget until the incident is investigated and resolved.

Reserved a truck for 10:30 AM on 07/23/22 and when I arrived they said they had to cancel my reservation because the gentleman in front of me reserved my truck right before me.Two days later I get charged 75 dollars for a no show fee. So not only did they make me scramble and find another truck on my moving da, they also charged my debit card.

I have no complaints to give. The employee was professional and efficient. My rental was billed correctly as it appeared on the reservation.

Reserved a minivan online weeks ago for this day, was worried if they will have any of them since it’s shortage in our area but Budget had like 3 brand new Toyota Siennas which is amazing!! Also had some troubles registering additional driver but ALI, a front desk manager made my day easier! Really cool and helpful guy. Will use Budget Romeoville more frequent. Totally recommend!

I rented a van to go to mackinac island. They called me 2pm on the day before on Saturday(closing time) and told me due to shortage we do not have the van. Told me I need to call customer service. When I called the customer service, they told me, if I am to get a van from different location, I need to pay $2000(for 3 days). We tried for hours and no one will help me. Then finally one reservation person told me to just to go to location at the tie of pickup and if they do not give a different alternative call them. We did not want to take a risk and we booked another car for $850 from midway Airport and came on our vacation. So be carefull with this location and any non main airport locations.
