Our employees and myself frequent this location and it's always been a positive experience. Tyson is always helpful and pleasant! I actually pass up the Thorntons at 400 N Independence to go to this one because the staff at the other location are always, and I mean always, rude and make me feel like I'm bothering them to do their job.

It’s your typical Chicago or any metro area truckstop…. it’s all about the $$$ money they squeeze out of you… nothing about the comfort or convenience for the driver…🤷🏻♂️

No other truck stop let any tow trucks to entered there property to bother their customers, But this truck stop is sucks they let this towing company to bother their customers. I was sitting in side of my truck and this towing company driver start towing my truck-trailer. It's Craziest truck stop ever i have seen in my life. This truck stop does deal with towing company but not with truckers who bring them business and buy fuel from them. I'll never go back again at this place. Greedy truck stop ever, keep away guys.

It has at least a little bit of truck parking available, which is why I gave it more than 1 star. The parking costs $15 a night. But most of their parking spaces are reserved. I think they rented all the blind side parking spots to some company, and left the sight side spots for all other customers. The employee told me if I want to use the free 2 hours of parking, I have to go inside the store to have them verify how long I've been there, otherwise the machine charges money at the exit gate. What's with truck stops renting out their parking lots to be trailer drop lots? Customers need somewhere to be able to park to sleep. Maybe big companies pay better than regular customers do. It seems like all the truck stops I've seen that rent out their parking lots are TAs. I think I'll try to avoid the TAs that rent out their parking for trailer drop lots.
TA loyalty points can't be spent here, because only the fuel islands belong to TA. The truck stop belongd to Thorntons, not TA. No showers here. Eh, I'm underwhelmed.
Owner, please don't bother posting a boilerplate reply about how you hope to give me a better experience next time. If you really hoped to do that, you would have done that already after the other customers posted complaints about the reserved parking being a drop lot.

I had the best experience here for the first time! I didn't get the associates name but he was EXCEPTIONAL, great customer service👌🏾, very efficient and fast, the store was clean and pricing was great as well. I highly recommend stopping by for your convenience needs and hopefully you'll be serviced by this nice gentlemen. Cheers!👍🏾

Chanda is really unprofessional employee.
1) Made me wait till she finish chatting with another guy installing new signs on hotdog machine.
2) As I believe intentionally didn't ask me for weight number on reway scale to make me weight again.

They advertise gas at lower price to get you at pump
When you try to buy it they don have it you force to by the more costly gas . Talk to tyson maneger he did not care he was very rude…
