I came from an emergency procedure. it was in the evening so I selected a 24 hour pharmacy. When I arrived back at the pharmacy, there were three people in the department plus the pharmacist, but only one person was working the registers. After lengthy wait, I was next in line (with one person being served). At this point, in spite of joining and already formed line, the tech informed that the line was supposed to be on my left. She then said something I didn't understand. A minute later she demanded that I move. When it was finally my turn, I noted she did not have a name tag. I challenged her about having to move. And she started with "sir..." I interrupted her and said stop with the sir, you have been very disrespectful, don't use sir. I handed her this prescription and asked if they could fill it that night. She began a tour of the Pharmacy and had a short consultation with the pharmacist. Mind you the pharmacist has been pretty much disengaged this entire time throwing field prescriptions into a basket. The tech comes back, and announces that they can fill the prescription in 100 minutes. Mind you, no one else is standing waiting for prescriptions. So I have already spent 45 minutes waiting on the process, and now they want 100 minutes more, in spite of the fact that I am physically in the store waiting. I asked for the prescription back. The tech says, "GLADLY!!!" I decided to talk to the night manager about the way this tech is treating customers. she takes some information, apologizes, and promises. The store manager will call me the next morning. Needless to say, the store manager did not call. My experience at Walgreens has been declining overall. Customer service seems to be something that means nothing to them. Having said that, this store is the worst experience I have had at a Walgreens. And that is an all-time low. If you desperately need a prescription filled overnight, be prepared to wait two hours and have terrible customer service. I'm writing this review because Management seems to not care about their store. I wish there was a no star option available. So at the end, I did not have my prescription. I spent an hour in the store for no reason. Management doesn't care about their customers. And a single employee cost the store $100 retail price on my prescription. To be fair the pharmacist and the three other employees made the situation worse. I doubt the store management cares enough to read this review, but I'm hopeful this will save the reader some time and aggravation.

Walgreens Pharamacy 347 Independence Blvd. Romeoville, IL. Pharmacy continues to be out of medications numerous times. Constant issues. Always excuses. No one is fixing issues. Can't get thru on the phone numerous times. Leave messages for Chris. He doesn't get them. No courtesy call backs. Professionalism out the door here. You were treated better and had fewer issues in 1973. Amy is great! Professional. Courteous. If you have a problem, she tries her hardest to fix it. Have great confidence in her. Wish Marion would come back. At least with him, he tried his hardest to fix any issues. They even acknowledged many times that they had and are having many issues. It's 2023 and you are getting worse not improving.

If you allow a medical clinic on your site, you should require they accept the same insurance you accept.

The head pharmacist is extremely rude. Possibly overworked but no reason to treat customers so poor. I was in for a flu shot and filled all my paperwork online and made the appointment for 1:00. I waited in line and was told to go to another line. When the pharmacist approached me she was terribly rude with her condescending disrespectful attitude. She started asking me all the questions I had already filled out online but she said they had misplaced it. I was fine having to answer the questions again but she was very short with me. After, she then asked me to fill out the form and said I needed a mask to take the shot. I asked her where they were and she rudely said I had to go up front and buy one. I knew I had one in my car so I set my paperwork down with the pen and went and got the mask. When I came back my paperwork and pen were gone from the desk and the pharmacist was back working in the back. I asked the girl at the front counter where my paperwork went and the pharmacist yelled from the back telling my to get back in line. It's now 1:30 when my appt was 1:00. Ridiculous that I had already stood in line and now the line was long again. I will take my business to another Walgreens in the next town over. Though it's farther, I hope to get the customer service I deserve.

Went to this Walgreens today for a Covid 19 Vaccination. I was pleasantly surprised first i was greeted at the door by the manager, a very nice young man he even asked how was feeling, then i went to the Pharmacy to check in, the associates were very nice i was taken care of right away and all my questions were answered, after receiving my shot, the came out and asked how i was doing, i have to say the whole experience was a delight, i would recommend this Walgreens for all your shopping needs.

I went to this pharmacy after leaving the hospital for kidney stones. I had to pick up my pain meds. When I arrived, the pharmacist was on her lunch break from 1:30 am to 2:00 am. So I waited in the parking lot until 2:00 am. When she opened, I pulled up to the drive thru window and was told that she received my prescription while on her lunch break and I would have to wait another 15 minutes. I was going to sit in the drive thru lane but she rudely informed me that I would have to leave the area in case another car arrived. Now I consider myself to be an educated person possessing common sense. Of course I would have moved if I saw a car behind me! Didn't really think that was a possibility since it was 2:00 am on a Wednesday morning. So again I found myself sitting and waiting in the Walgreens parking lot for the second time that night. I really hate all Walgreens pharmacies because of their ineptitude, but this woman really took the cake. I was too tired and in too much pain to get her name, but whoever you are, thanks for making a terrible night even worse! Didn't think it was even possible, but leave it to Walgreens! There's certainly a reason you work the overnight shift. Please learn the meaning of the word "customer service." And the sooner, the better!

All Walgreens pharmacies are horrible, If you are a pain medication patient dont use them. They will interrogate you, treat you like your a drug addict, make you feel so bad its horrible. I left there crying the way they make you feel about picking up pain medication. Not just this Walgreens all Walgreens. I've used Michigan, Illinois and California everyone is super judgemental and just very bad people skills. I understand they trying to keep these medications out the wrong hands. But when you been usinh them for 10 years and filling your script there every month they still feel they need to treat you like a your a addict. Its very sad and not right. Shame on you Walgreens.

I called the (pharmacy dept) in Romeoville about the medical clinic. I told them my granddaughter was sick and had to see someone. The person (female) told me the clinic was open 24 hours. My granddaughter went over there (5 minutes later) and was told the clinic was closed. I am so angry that I bothered making the phone call and my granddaughter went over there. How unprofessional of Walgreens. Employees shouldn't answer the phone if they don't know what they are talking about.

Girl with glasses thick asian accent refused to serve me a pack of swisher sweets was incredibly rude for no reason. Claimed i was with another man and that i was buying tobacco for another person when I went to the walgreens alone. Completely delusional and im sincerely hurt. Threatened to call the manager but im not about to waste 30 mins of my life, arguing with the most irrational, unlogical person. Feel so disrespected. This place sucks. Lol where do you hire these people from? A gutter, worst service ever. Clearly had other problems in life but took it out on me. In shock
