There is only one register open ever. Even though there is a self checkout that is never in service. So don't get in a hurry. Hope you don't mind giant carts lining the walkways because they are always there.
The best thing about this store is no matter how many months in a row a product gets bought out right after they fill it up. They never ever change their order to obtain more of that product.
This store is definitely mismanaged. Good luck.
Update: like I said they don't order more of something sells out quickly. After them being out of my cigarettes for a week. They get them in and they are sold out within two days. They are just mechanically ordering the same thing every week. Costing them money because they're out of stuff and costing the customer the inconvenience of having to go somewhere else.

Very clean store. The staff greeted me at the door with a friendly hello and asked "if I needed any help finding anything?" As I was wondering around the store, an employee came up again and asked if I needed help finding anything and at time I did. She took me right to what I needed and got it off the top shelf for me. They also have the latest Paw Patrol, unicorn, and Sloth stuff. My daughter and I love going to DG for our collection's!

It is a Dollar General is all I can say and I can say this dollar general store prices are higher then any other one around and honestly why doesn't dollar general have to make their store handicap accessible the isle are to small and cluttered

I love how convenient it is. The remodel has definitely improved things. There are lots of food options, with the exception of fresh produce and fresh meat. I love the new home interior section.. I have covered my house in dollar general decor lol.BUT on the downside.. The employees are overworked and underpaid. They have a high turn over rate because of this. A lot of time if you need help with finding something, the employee is looking for it with you. Not that it is their fault, normally they are just new. They work hard but never have enough time to get everything stocked, so it can be a mess a lot of the time. They're also supposed to be watching for people needing to check out. It is impossible when they are stocking shelves at the other end of the store. I watch customers get angry because they have to wait, then take it out on the employee ?. A lot of time if I am shopping and see a line forming ai will let them know, because they don't deserve the treatment they get when a line forms.Oh and the whole cash register system is horrible. It freezes Constantly and has for years. They company obviously doesn't care. I know it has been reported and it has been looked at, but nothing gets done.So, Dollar General's corporate officers need to get things figured out because they are becoming as horrible of an employer and as uncaring of a company about it's customer's as Walmart. Actually, it may be on the verge of being there already. Get your stuff together people.
