“I came in for some mezcal but I didn’t know much about the stuff. The woman running the place stopped what she was doing as soon as she saw me and walked me to the area where they stocked it, and spent time helping me understand what they had and the differences between the types. She also gave me some tastes of a few to help me make a decision. As I write this, I’m enjoying a lovely glass of what she helped me pick out. This little place is tucked off the main road but well worth your visit”
“Apex roofed our house and garage this summer. ****** was our contractor. He went over everything with us from start to finish. Any questions we had was taken care of right away. Any requests we had he made sure that they were able to take of. He was here to over see the job being done. It looks awesome! Thank you **** for the wonderful job! “The first time I was in a Woodman's I was mind-blown at how massive they are ! To those outside of the midwest I wonder what your grocery store equivalent is ? I've never been in a Wegman's but I imagine it is something on that scale. Costco is large too but in a different way.Not sure what to add about this Woodman's but I am always in awwww of how much there is here ! Hope the pic tour encourages you to find and share your surprises in here too !”

“It's the best store in Beloit. It's part because Beloit shopping is terrible and Woodman's prices overall are unbeatable. The employees are pretty good most of the time. There was one pickup area guy doing burnouts with his homies right past our car about 3 weeks ago (early October 2024). Didn't care for that very much”

“I always get the very best chef salads, veggie trays, assorted macaroni salads, (BLT salad one of my very favorites) cut fruits, soups, lots of varieties in grab and go foods...never had anything that wasn't really good. Today I decided to try the barbeque sandwich and let me tell you is was SO good wish I would have bought the container size they also offered.
The customer service is exceptional also !

“Good People...... Liquor store on one side and a bar on the other side. You can also cash checks on the liquor store side for a fee which is seriously convenient. Advice......Don't sign the check before you go in though. Let them see the check with your ID and they will tell you when to sign the check.”

“The prices are why I keep coming back. Much lower than anywhere in town. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait to get to a pump, but they are building another station across the road and that should help alleviate the issue. Be aware, it's either prepay, debit or Discover. They don't accept Visa or MasterCard credit cards.”

“I love this store it's the closest liquor store near me. Normally it's really cheap too. My only complaint is that they do not sell Smirnoff vodka. It was my mom's drink and since she's been gone, that's pretty much all I drink. Don't get me wrong they sell it, but the tallest bottle they have of it is a pint. I figure if you are a liquor store why do you not have Smirnoff, it's not rare.”
“It’s always worth the drive — excellent service and great prices! At first, we were told to skip House of Bottles and shop elsewhere, but we decided to check it out anyway.
